I am so excited about the new products in the Stampin' Up! 2019 Holiday catalog!  I knew right away the Snowman Season stamp set would be at the top of my list.  If you don't already know, I LOVE SNOWMEN!!!  They make me happy!  I put them out with my Christmas decorations and keep all of my snowmen up until February 1st.  Here in Ohio it is still winter and we definitely still get snow.

I had mentioned on Monday on my Facebook live that I would be participating in a blog hop today.  Due to technical issues, I wasn't able to participate.  Hopefully next time it will work out.  The above card is the one that I made for the blog hop.  While I was making this card I figured out a great tip using the Snowman Builder punch and the Let It Snow specialty designer series paper.   I couldn't wait to share with you!

The snowman is so cute, I had to use him on my card today.  Also, from the same paper pack I used the strips and mittens designs.  They are actually on the same piece of paper, one design on the front and the other design on the back.  This card was easy to make because I could punch out the snowman and the hat from the paper.  I also punched out the arms from Early Espresso cardstock.

For this blog hop I made a card using quite a few products from the Occasions catalog.  I started out with knowing that I wanted to use the Rectangle Stitched Framelits that are part of the Amazing Life bundle.  I then wanted to use my favorite designer series paper in the Occasions catalog, All My Love. Another product that I have been using a lot in my Valentine's Day projects is the Be Mine Stitched Edgelits.  The edgelits have a coordinating stamp set, Meant To Be, which I also used on this card for the sentiment.   What I love about these two products, is you can get them in a bundle and save 10%!

To make this card you will need the following paper.  For a complete list of all the products I used, please see the end of this post.

I love it!!! I have been using it a lot in my projects lately, so of course, I had to add it to this project too.  Do you see the little heart by the sentiment?  I was using one of the pieces in the Be Mine edgelits (the one with all the hearts connected together) and all these little hearts came falling out when I picked it up.  I had an ah ha moment and knew I wanted to add one of them to this project somewhere.

This was a fun and easy card to make that anyone would love to get on Valentine's Day!

I am so excited that you are joining us for our blog hop today!  We are a group of Stampin’ Up! demonstrator from around the world who are Hoppin’ With Exciting Ideas to share with you!  Today we will feature products from the Holiday Stampin’ Up! Catalog. I know you will find a lot of wonderful ideas shared by all the demonstrators.

I love, love, love snowmen!  If you ever saw my house at Christmas time you would know right away.  I even keep them up until the beginning of February.  After all, it is still technically winter.  LOL  The stamp set I chose to use is the Spirited Snowmen and the sentiment is from the Timeless Tidings stamp set.

I did a couple of fun and easy techniques on this card.  The first one I did is called the Ink Block technique and then I covered it with the Frost White shimmer paint, which is also in the new Holiday catalog.  Since this is a blog hop and I don't want to make this post too long, I will write out the directions soon and post them on here for how I made this card.

It is hard to see the shimmer on the card in the above photo, but here is a better picture.

Annual Catalog.  I know you will find a lot of wonderful ideas shared today.

For my card, I used the Calligraphy Essentials stamp set.  I have always loved calligraphy, but have never really tried to do it myself.  Stampin' Up! is offering a kit this year called Calligraphy Essentials Project Kit, where you can learn to do some calligraphy yourself.   It is so pretty!  They even give you practice sheets so you can learn how to write the letters on your own without using the outline stamp.  How fun is that?!

Stampin Up, Stampin' Up!! I used one of the beautiful sheets of paper from the Nature's Poem designer series paper, which I layered on top of Blackberry Bliss and Grapefruit Grove cardstock.  I made the leaves with a fun coordinating framelits set, Nature's Roots.  In this set of framelits you have the cutting framelits, , but you also have the embossing framelits.  See the picture below to see how you use these framelits.  They turn out beautiful!

The sentiment "smile" was stamped with Blackberry Burst ink on top of the designer series paper.  Have you ever stamped on designer series paper?
