Welcome to our NEW AT SU! Blog hop! We are a group of Stampin’ Up! demonstrators from around the world who are Hoppin’ with creative paper crafting ideas to share with you. Today we are showcasing Fall Festivities.  When I think of Fall, I think of the leaves changing colors.

I had to cut out a bunch of leaves from the beautiful Plaid Tidings for my Holiday Extravaganza that I had in September.  I thought the negative of cutting the leaves was really neat.  When I started thinking about my project for this blog hop, I knew right away I wanted to use it.

To make this project you will need the following paper.  For a complete list of all the products I used, please see the end of this post.

Cardstock:

Early Espresso

  • cut at 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" score at 4 1/4"

Bumblebee, Cajun Craze and Pumpkin Pie

  • cut at 2" x 2 1/2"

Whisper White

  • cut at 1/2" x 3"
  • cut at 4" x 5 1/4"

I used the Stitched Leaves Dies to cut out the leaves in the Bumblebee, Cajun Craze and Pumpkin Pie cardstock.  It is the same die that I used for the background.   I then cut 11" of the Metallic ribbon in the Basket Weave/Metallic ribbon combo pack and tied it into a bow.  The sentiment is from the Banner Year stamp set and was stamped using Early Espresso ink.  I punched the right hand end with the Lovely Labels Pick A Punch.

Look how beautiful the colors are together.  To finish off the project, I added the Blue Adhesive-Backed Gems in the center of the cutout snowflakes and on two of the snowflakes on the designer series paper.  When you gems, rhinestones, flowers. etc. you want to make sure you use an odd number of them.  It is pleasing to the eye and makes it look finished.

I cut the sentiment out with the Nestled Stitched dies in the Stampin' Up! 2020-2021 annual catalog.  I stamped the sentiment with Pacific Point ink.

There are a lot of beautiful stamp sets in the new annual catalog that I had a hard time deciding which one I wanted to use.  I was in the middle of coloring this flower from the Prized Peony stamp set and thought, I wonder how this would look colored blue?  So, I changed my colors to Pool Party and different grays.  Which was perfect because I have been wanting to use the beautiful Pool Party Sheer ribbon.  I added the Gray Granite Shimmer ribbon to the Pool Party ribbon for a different look.

I am so happy that you are joining us for our blog hop!   We are a group of Stampin’ Up! demonstrator from around the world who are Hoppin’ With Exciting Ideas to share with you. Today we will feature products from the 2019 Occasions Stampin’ Up! Catalog. I know you will find a lot of wonderful ideas that are shared today!

For this blog hop I made a card using quite a few products from the Occasions catalog.  I started out with knowing that I wanted to use the Rectangle Stitched Framelits that are part of the Amazing Life bundle.  I then wanted to use my favorite designer series paper in the Occasions catalog, All My Love. Another product that I have been using a lot in my Valentine's Day projects is the Be Mine Stitched Edgelits.  The edgelits have a coordinating stamp set, Meant To Be, which I also used on this card for the sentiment.   What I love about these two products, is you can get them in a bundle and save 10%!

To make this card you will need the following paper.  For a complete list of all the products I used, please see the end of this post.

Stampin Up, Stampin' Up! I love it!!! I have been using it a lot in my projects lately, so of course, I had to add it to this project too.  Do you see the little heart by the sentiment?  I was using one of the pieces in the Be Mine edgelits (the one with all the hearts connected together) and all these little hearts came falling out when I picked it up.  I had an ah ha moment and knew I wanted to add one of them to this project somewhere.

This was a fun and easy card to make that anyone would love to get on Valentine's Day!
