When I posted my first Corner Fold Gift Card Holder card, I was asked how did I make it and did I have a tutorial.  So, I decided to do a Facebook live last night on my Stampin Scrapper page to share with all of you on how to make this card.  On this card I used the beautiful Sweet As A Peach stamp set, Peach dies and the You're A Peach designer series paper.

On the inside of the card, I added a 1/2" strip of designer series paper on the left hand side of the Basic White paper.  

I just love how the gift card fits perfectly in the holder.  

On the peaches, flowers and leaves I added Wink of Stella to add a little bit of sparkle to my card.  I used the gorgeous Pale Papaya Sheer Weave ribbon, which I cut in half, to make a triple bow.

LOL  You will see in the video that I made a couple of mistakes, we all do, but I show you how to fix them.  I also share with you tips on how to do the shading on the peaches, flowers and leaves.  You get a 2 for 1 bonus today!

This card is not difficult to make, you just have to make sure you take your time when you are doing your cuts for the corner fold.  Getting the measurements correct and not cutting too far.

During my annual catalog kickoff, I shared this Mini Jam Jar and Scalloped Craft Treat Box that I decorated using the You're A Peach suite.  I love how they turned out!

For the box I used the You're A Peach designer series paper and stamped the flowers, leaves and sentiment from the Sweet As A Peach stamp set.  I cut the tag with the die from the Stitched So Sweetly set.  To finish it off I used the beautiful Gold Shimmer Ribbon and the 2021-2022 In Color Jewels.  

On the Mini Jam Jar I used the same designer series paper, just a different pattern and the same ribbon as on the box.  

For the designer series paper around the jar you will use a piece cut at 1 3/4" x 8".  For the top you will need a 3 1/2" x 3 1/2" piece and cut it using the largest scalloped circle in the Layering Circle Dies.  

HOW DID THEY DO THAT?

Did you notice the lid on the jar?  I saw it decorated like that in the annual catalog and was trying to figure out how they did it.  I finally did and wanted to share it with all of you.  It is actually easier than you think.  I did a quick Facebook live showing you how to decorate the lid with the paper and also how to shade the peach using two different colors.  Here is the video. 

Wasn't that easy?!  When I first was looking at it, I thought it was going to be so hard to figure it out, but it wasn't!  I can't wait to try it with other designer series papers.  What would you do with these jars?

It's allergy season!  Need a beautiful tissue box?  I know I do!  I also need one for my new craft room and what better designer paper to use than the gorgeous Butterfly Bijou designer series paper.  

I added a butterfly to the front of the box that I cut out of the designer series paper.  I cut out a black scalloped circle with the Layering Circle dies and the white circle is cut out with the Stitched Shapes dies.  To finish it off, I added Rhinestones to the butterfly.  

I love that you can use any designer series paper you want and make one for any decor or season.

Welcome to my Merry Christmas Monday series for 2020!  I am so excited about this project.  I saw this online by a couple of different people and loved it.  Do you know why I love it?  You make the notecard holder with one sheet of 12 x 12 designer series paper.  That's it!  No adhesive, just a tool to score your paper.  How awesome is that?!

I used the fun and so pretty Snowflake Splendor designer series paper from the Stampin' Up! holiday catalog.  I love every piece of paper in this pack.  Of course, if I am using snowflake paper, I have to have a snowman on it too!  I used the new Snow Wonder stamp set and coordinating Snow Time dies.  The best part is that you can get both as a bundle and save 10%.  

To make the notecard you will need:

Cardstock:

Pool Party:

• cut at 3 3/8" x 4 7/8"
• cut at 2 3/4" x 3 3/4"
• cut at 1/2" x 2 1/2"

Whisper White:

• cut 2 at 2 3/4" x 3 3/4" - one for snowman and one for white behind snowman
• cut at 1/2" x 2 1/2"

Snowflake Splendor Designer Series Paper:

• cut at 3 1/4" x 4 3/4"

To make the notecard holder you will need:

Snowflake Splendor Designer Series Paper - 12 x 12 sheet

• on one side score at 2", 5 3/4", 6 1/4" and 10"
• turn paper and score at 2 1/2" and 8 1/4"

What ever side of the paper you want on the left hand side of your notecard holder, make sure that is facing up.  It would be too hard to try and explain to you how to fold the paper for you to make the notecard holder, so I made short video on how to fold the paper.  

I just went back and watched the video and realized that I folded the notecard holder backwards.  LOL  You want the straight folds on the outside not the inside.  

To make the card I used the Layering Oval dies and Classic Label Punch.  I embossed the white piece of cardstock with the Winter Snow embossing folder.  The sentiment is from the Itty Bitty Christmas stamp set and stamped with Pool Party ink.  To get the color of the snowman, I put Basic Gray ink on the snowman stamp and then stamped it on a scrap piece of paper first (this is called stamping off) and then I stamped it on the Whisper White cardstock.  I wanted to do some blending on the snowman so I used the Stampin' Blends to color him.  I used the following colors: Black - light, Cherry Cobbler - dark, Mossy Meadow - light, Pool Party - light and dark and Pumpkin Pie - dark. 

I added Wink of Stella to the snowman and then added three of the Adhesive Backed Snowflakes.  

I love snowmen and I love this little guy.  He is so cute!

I had so much fun coming up with these Facebook Live projects and sharing them with all of you.  It all started when I designed the top left Timeless Tulip card for a workshop my friend Linda had with me.  Due to sickness, some of her guest couldn't make it, so I had some kits left over.  

Last week I had my Stamp Camp and I featured cards made with Sale-A-Bration products.   Since I had kits leftover, I created the bottom center card using the Little Ladybug stamp set and Ladybug dies.

I have to say, the Little Ladybug stamp set is my favorite stamp set from all of the Sale-A-Bration products.  I think they are so stinkin' cute!

On the inside of my card I stamped the flower and the ladybug.  On the envelope you could stamp either one, or you could stamp one on the front and the other on the back.

The third card I created I used the Thoughtful Blooms stamp set from Sale-A-Bration.  On this card I wanted to do something different with the cardstock, so I put the Real Red and Whisper White at an angel.  I love how it turned out.

For my product I chose the Little Ladybug with coordinating Ladybug dies from the Sale-A-Bration brochure.  The Stone embossing folder is also from the Sale-A-Bration!  It comes with the Power of Hope stamp set.  

I love to color, so these flowers were perfect for this project.  Did you notice the ladybug is popped up off the paper?  More than with a dimensional?  I put a spring on the ladybug, so she moves.  Check out the video below.  

I have been wanting to make a card with the ladybug on the spring since I saw the stamp set in the Sale-A-Bration brochure.  I love how it turned out.  She is so stinkin cute!

On my Facebook live last night I shared how to make the above projects.  I always have so much fun doing them.  I love how people from all over the world connect over the love of crafting.  

I made three treat holders and one card using the From My Heart Suite in the Stampin' Up! Mini Catalog.  Everything in this suite is absolutely gorgeous!

The measurements for this project are:

I used the Meant To Be stamp set from the Stampin' Up! 2019-2020 annual catalog for the Happy Valentine's Day sentiment.  

I had mentioned in my video that I had used two different embossing folders on the Whisper White paper.  It was hard to see it on the video, so I took some pictures so you can see it better.

I still can't decide which one I like the best.  I love them both.  

I used the Heart Doilies, From My Heart specialty designer series paper and the Heart Punch Pack to decorate the Heart Foil Tins.

During my Merry Christmas Monday series, I created an album, like the one above, and it was very popular.  I have received a lot of request to make a video on how to make this type of album.  I have been wanting to do one for a long time, but for some reason I was a little nervous about doing it.  I am so glad I did!  It was a lot of fun showing how to create the album and I love, love, love how it turned out.

There are a lot of different components to this project.  I have all the measurements listed below.  I tried to do them in sections, so it would be easier for everyone to figure out what pieces go where. 

To make this project you will need the following paper.  For a complete list of all the products I used, please see the end of this post.

Album Base:

Lovely Lipstick Cardstock:

• cut 2 at 8 1/2" x 9" score at 3 3/4" and 4 3/4"

Designer Series Paper

Outside:

• cut 2 at 3 1/2" x 8 3/4"
• cut at 3/4" x 8 3/4

Inside:

• cut at 8 1/4" x 8 3/4" score on the 8 3/4" side at 3 5/8" and 4 5/8"

I wanted to save my favorite project from my Merry Christmas Monday series this year for my last week.  I had made one of these a few years and had totally forgot about it.  Then, Robin, my partner in crime, came across it and said that she wanted one.  That gave me an idea.  

I wanted to make her something for all the help she gave me with my Holiday Extravaganza event and this was perfect.  I asked her what her favorite paper was from the 2019 Stampin' Up! holiday catalog and she said the Let It Snow designer series paper.  This paper has since sold out, but you can use any paper that you like.  

This is the front of the album.  I used the Snowman Builder punch to punch out the snowman on one of the sheets of paper in the Let It Snow paper pack.  The hat is also punched out from another design.  The Snowman Builder punch is still available.  

On the left hand side there are two pockets that you can put things in, or attach them to the pieces of paper I have paper clipped together. 

On the right hand side I have the photo section.  Each flap opens up so that you can add pictures or mementos that you have. 

I have made a little video to show you more of how it is designed.  I thought it would be easier to show you than trying to explain it.  

I am not quite sure why it is so skinny.  It might be the way I videoed it.  I already gave this to Robin as a gift, so I couldn't reshoot it.  I hope you get the idea of what I was trying to show you.

In the new year, I will be making a video on how to make this album, using new product from the new Stampin' Up! 2020 Mini catalog and maybe something from the 2020 Sale-A-Bration brochure.
