Happy Valentine's Day!

I hope all of you have a wonderful Valentine's Day and feel the love that I am sending out to all of you!

Last weekend I was at a scrapbooking retreat with my dear friend Cathy Dawe.  I had so much fun and realized how much I miss scrapbooking.  I am definitely going to be doing more of it in the very near future.  I will be sharing with all of you what pages I create. 

One of the projects I worked on was the January Paper Pumpkin kit, which had Valentine's cards as the project.  You also had the option to add on little boxes to make treat holders. 

Here is a picture of the 60 that I made for a nursing/rehab center residents.  I ended up making 20 more for the workers at the center.  They were so excited when I dropped them off yesterday.  

You know me, I couldn't make the projects the way they were designed, I had to change them.  I got inspiration from many places online for these projects. Some of them, I loved so much that I case'd (copy and share everything) them and some I created on my own.  I had so much fun making the alternative projects below.  

In this picture there are three of the cards I made and a treat bag.  The treat bag was made using one of the card bases.  I saw it online and knew I had to try it.  I couldn't believe how easy it was.

Welcome to our NEW AT SU! Blog hop! We are a group of Stampin’ Up! demonstrators from around the world who are Hoppin’ with creative paper crafting ideas to share with you. Today we are showcasing love and hearts.  I knew right away that I wanted to use the beautiful Forever & Always bundle from the new 2021 Stampin' Up! mini catalog.

I can't begin to tell you how beautiful the Love You Always specialty designer series paper is.  Then you add the gorgeous Love You Always Foil Sheets!  Out Of This World!!! I couldn't just make one project with this paper, I had to make two.  

The first project I made was the Love You Always Treat Box.  I stamped the flowers from the Forever & Always stamp set in the new Stampin' Up! mini catalog using Black Memento ink.  I colored the flowers with the Daffodil Delight, Old Olive and Rococo Rose blends.  I cut them out using the Always dies that coordinate with the stamp set.  If you order both, the stamp set and dies, as a bundle, you will save 10%.  Yay! 

I then designed the card to coordinate with the treat box.  I wanted to use the same designer series paper and flowers, but this time I added the Blushing Bride Metallic Ribbon.   This ribbon is beautiful!  What I really like about it, is that it has two totally different sides to it.  The first side is a little rough to the touch, but has a more distinct gold color with the Rococo Rose.  On the other side of the ribbon, it is softer and has a subtle gold hue to it.  I liked the smooth side better for this project. 

I added one of the Heart Charms and three of the Matte Black Dots to both of the projects.  Of course, we need a little more sparkle, so I added Wink of Stella to the flowers.  

This project is perfect for Valentine's Day, a wedding, anniversary, birthday or just because.

Happy Valentine's Day Everyone!  I saw this card, created by the talented Leanne Dunn, online and fell in love with it.  I loved how she put the layers all the way over to the left and the simplicity of it.  She only used ink, paper, stamps and a little bit of ribbon.  I loved it so much, I didn't change a single thing.  I made it just like she did.

On the inside of the card, I used a small piece of designer series paper on the bottom of the Whisper White piece.  I had a bunch of the 3/4" pieces sitting on my craft table and was trying to figure out what I was going to do with all of them.  I am going to have to remember to do that on other projects.  I really like it. 

I will be creating the hostess gift that I am giving to my host who is having a workshop on Sunday with me.  I can't tell you what it is, because she will know and I want to keep it a surprise.  Check back on Monday to see it and join me on Monday night to learn how to make it.

I had mentioned in my video that I had used two different embossing folders on the Whisper White paper.  It was hard to see it on the video, so I took some pictures so you can see it better.

Today I have an easy Valentine's Day card to share with you.  I got inspiration for this card from a card I saw online created by Linda Bedinger.  We made this card at my bingo class and everyone loved how easy it was to make.  I used the Heartfelt stamp set and the From My Heart specialty designer series paper, which are part of the From My Heart suite.

The hearts were punched out with the new Heart Punch Pack (it includes two punches).  Guess what?!  You can get both the Heartfelt stamp set and the Heart Punch Pack as a bundle and save 10%!  

The Flirty Flamingo piece of cardstock was cut from the top left corner to the bottom right corner. You will be two pieces out of one piece of cardstock.  I added Real Red Rhinestones to finish off the card.  

I stamped the small heart in the center heart with Flirty Flamingo ink.  I also stamped it in the inside of the card and on my envelope.  You don't want to send out a naked envelope.

I am so happy that you are joining us for our blog hop!   We are a group of Stampin’ Up! demonstrator from around the world who are Hoppin’ With Exciting Ideas to share with you. Today we will feature products from the 2019 Occasions Stampin’ Up! Catalog. I know you will find a lot of wonderful ideas that are shared today!

For this blog hop I made a card using quite a few products from the Occasions catalog.  I started out with knowing that I wanted to use the Rectangle Stitched Framelits that are part of the Amazing Life bundle.  I then wanted to use my favorite designer series paper in the Occasions catalog, All My Love. Another product that I have been using a lot in my Valentine's Day projects is the Be Mine Stitched Edgelits.  The edgelits have a coordinating stamp set, Meant To Be, which I also used on this card for the sentiment.   What I love about these two products, is you can get them in a bundle and save 10%!

Have you seen  the Lovely Lipstick foil paper from the 2019 Sale-A-Bration brochure? I love it!!! I have been using it a lot in my projects lately, so of course, I had to add it to this project too.  Do you see the little heart by the sentiment?  I was using one of the pieces in the Be Mine edgelits (the one with all the hearts connected together) and all these little hearts came falling out when I picked it up.  I had an ah ha moment and knew I wanted to add one of them to this project somewhere.

This was a fun and easy card to make that anyone would love to get on Valentine's Day!

I always make the host of my workshops a thank you gift for allowing me to share Stampin' Up! products with them and their friends.  My last hostess Stacy, had a Valentine's workshop, which was so much fun.   As my thank you gift, I made her a Tea Tin decorated with the beautiful All My Love designer series paper.  

I wanted to make a gift that she could use again.  She could put tea bags, little 3 x 3 note cards, candy (which I did) or what ever else she wanted to use.  I wanted to put a little bit of shine on this, so I used the Lovely Lipstick foil sheets that are in the Sale-A-Bration brochure.  You can earn them FREE when you purchase $50 or $100 from now until March 31st.

To adhere the designer series paper I used Tear and Tape as I wanted to make sure that it stayed in place.  

On top of the tin I made a triple loop bow with the Lovely Lipstick ribbon from the All My Love Ribbon Combo Pack in the occasions catalog.  I used the Multipurpose Liquid Glue on the scalloped heart and Stampin Dimensionals on the solid heart.  

I filled up the tin with the delicious Hershey hearts that are filled with a strawberry filling.  When you open the bag, the smell of strawberries is so fresh! Yes, I have sampled these.  I don't want to give my hostess bad candy.  LOL

Today I have an easy and elegant Valentine's Day card to share with you.  The color combination of Lovely Lipstick, black and white colors are so striking.  A while ago I saw a layout like this on Pinterest and fell in love with the clean look of it.  The Lovely Lipstick foil sheets in the Sale-A-Bration brochure is so pretty!  It is hard to get a good picture of the foil sheets, but trust me, it is gorgeous!   

For the banner and circles behind the hearts, I used the Botanical Butterfly designer series paper, which is also in the Sale-A-Bration brochure.  You can earn both of these products for FREE when you purchase  $50 or $100 in product during Sale-A-Bration.  I love butterflies, so of course, I love this paper.  What else I love is the different patterned paper in this paper pack.  I have used the checked and polka dot paper a lot on different projects.  Here is a picture of the different patterns in the paper pack.

You are not going to believe how I came up with this card!  I had been working on Valentine's Day projects and my craft table was a mess.  I went to clean it up and saw all of these odds and ends pieces.  I have the habit of saving them, for some day I will use them, and never touch them again.  I challenged myself to come up with a card with only using the cut outs I had on my table and I had to use the designer series paper that was already on my craft table.  Boy, am I glad my stuff coordinated.  Another reason I love Stampin' Up!

You can use this card for Valentine's Day, a wedding or an anniversary.  There are so many possibilities with this card.  All you have to do is change the designer series paper and the color of your cardstock.

I used the Lovely Lipstick ribbon from the All My Love ribbon combo pack in the occasions catalog.  I wrapped it around the Lovely Lipstick and designer series paper.  I then popped these up with Stampin Dimensionals.  I also popped up the little Lovely Lipstick heart.

I am so excited for this week!  I had openings in my daycare and you won't believe who I got a phone call from.  One of Emily and Erica's cheerleading coaches!  I can't wait to meet her sweet little boy.  Yes, another boy!  LOL  In the fall I will have all boys in my daycare.  Life will definitely be very active in my home during the day.

I am starting a new bible study on Tuesday, small group on Wednesday, class on Friday and my Joyful Butterflies team meeting on Saturday morning.  It is going to be a busy week, but a fun week!  Do you have any fun things planned this week?

Last night I did my second Facebook Live and I loved it!  I am having so much fun doing them.  I hope you are enjoying them too.  If you missed it, it is further down on this post.

The first project I made was the large gift card or embellishment holder.  I made these for my bingo attendees as part of their goodies for attending.  Inside each one there was a pack of the Heart Epoxy Droplets that are in the 2019 Occasions catalog.  I used the All My Love designer series paper along with the Lovely Lipstick Foil Sheets in the Sale-A-Bration brochure.  Both of the papers are so beautiful!  I tried my best to get good pictures of them to show you, but you will see them better in the video and even more in person.  

This holder would work for a lot of the embellishments in the Stampin' Up! catalogs and also for a big gift card.  What I mean about a big gift card is the ones that come with packaging all around the gift card.  I didn't get a picture of the gift card with the holder as I thought of it as I was prepping for my Facebook live.  You will see the type of gift card I am talking about in the video.

All My Love Designer Series Paper

• cut at 5 3/4" x 8 1/2" score at 2 3/4" and 6 1/2" also score at 1/2" on bottom

Lovely Lipstick Foil Sheets

• cut at 2 1/2" x 2 1/2"

Whisper White Cardstock

• cut at 2 1/4" x 2 3/4"

To finish off this project I added three Rhinestones to the sentiment. 

The second project I made was for the Ghirardelli Caramel Duet Hearts candy.  I thought when I bought these that they were the normal size of Ghirardelli's, but they were a rectangle instead of a square.  I love to create my own boxes for things, so I was kinda happy that I needed to figure out one for this delicious candy!  I gave these to my ladies as their thank you gift for attending my Stamp A Stack class last weekend.

• cut at 3 1/2" x 4 1/2" score at 1/2", 2", 2 1/2", and 4" and score at 1/2" on the bottom
• scrap for heart

Whisper White

• scrap for sentiment

All My Love Designer Series Paper

• cut at 1 3/8" x 2 7/8"

Sparkle Glimmer Paper

• scrap for heart

I used the 3/8" Classic Weave Whisper White Ribbon and the Lovely Lipstick 1/8" Grosgrain Ribbon.
