Fast and Easy Happiest of Birthdays Card

StampinUpHappiestofBirthdaysStampinScrapperJoyceWhitman2
When I saw this stamp set in the Stampin' Up! annual catalog, I was so happy.  I love stamp sets that have big images, because they are perfect for fast and easy cards and this one is a very easy card to make!

Stampin Up, Stampin' Up!, Happiest Of Birthdays, Fast and Easy Birthday Card, Flowers For Every Season, designer series paper, 2020-2022 In Colors, Birthday Card, created by Stampin Scrapper. For more cards, gifts, ideas, scrapbooking and 3D projects go to stampinscrapper.com. Joyce WhitmanI actually made this card for a swap that I participated in for the new Stampin' Up! annual catalog.   When I have to make multiples of cards, I want to make sure they are easily duplicatable.  Also, on this card I want to showcase the beautiful Flowers For Every Season designer series paper.  I love how bright the colors are and they are the new 2020-2022 In Colors.

For more cards, gifts, ideas, scrapbooking and 3D projects go to stampinscrapper.com. Joyce WhitmanDo you see the Bumblebee, Just Jade, Magenta Madness and Misty Moonlight colors.   The only In Color I didn't use was the Cinnamon Cider.

To make this project you will need the following paper.  For a complete list of all the products I used, please see the end of this post.

Cardstock:

Magenta Madness

  • cut at 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" score at 4 1/4"

Misty Moonlight

  • cut at 1 5/8" x 5 1/2"
  • cut at 3" x 4 1/8"

Daffodil Delight

  • scraps for 4 flowers

Whisper White

  • cut at 3 1/4" x 4 3/8"
  • cut at 4" x 5 1/4" for inside the card

Flowers For Every Season Designer Series Paper

  • cut at 1 1/2" x 5 1/2"

You will notice that I used Daffodil Delight instead of the Bumblebee cardstock for the flowers.  The Daffodil Delight cardstock was a little brighter for this project and that is exactly what it needed.

To finish off the project I put a big Gold Glitter Enamel Dot in the center of each flower.

VIRTUAL Holiday Extravaganza - Updated to include video

Virtual Holiday Extravaganza Banner

Updated to include video

Yes, you have read that correct.  My Holiday Extravaganza will now be all online.  I have been in contact with the golf course where I was going to have my Holiday Extravaganza and have been told that they are not allowed to serve food.  I can't have an all day event and not have food for everyone.  Also, with everything still going on, I have made the decision to do this years event online.

You are probably wondering how is this going to work.  Robin and I have been talking and trying to figure it out and we think we have come up with a plan.

The event will still be on Saturday, September 26th starting at 9:00am.  I will be doing 4 Facebook lives throughout the day.  At each of the Facebook lives, I will be making the projects from that session.  Don't worry if you can't watch all of the sessions.  I will be creating a Facebook group for this event, so you will be able to watch them whenever you would like.

Everyone will be receiving a FREE stamp set in place of the money we were going to spend on food.  You will also get all of the goodies that you got last year.  Including your bag of supplies and gifts, gifts that we had at your seat for you and all the prizes throughout the day.  There will be door prizes and ordering specials the day of the event.  I will be drawing one door prize at each of the sessions.  We are going to try our best to keep it the same as last year as much as possible and still have a lot of fun!

I will be doing a Facebook live at 10:30am on Saturday, July 18th on my Stampin Scrapper Facebook page to explain how we are going to be doing this event.  There will be a lot more details on my Facebook live than in this email.  There is a lot of information and it is easier to say everything than to type it all out.

I have a new son-in-law!!!  I still can't believe my baby is married.  We had a great time at her mini wedding and she was absolutely beautiful.

IMG_1491

Due to all of the things going on with COVID-19, we had to postpone her big wedding until next year.  We were, however, able to have a mini one this year.   There was just immediate family there, so it was small and intimate.

Stampin Up, Stampin' Up!, Last A Lifetime stamp set, Peony Garden designer series paper, Peony dies, Gray Granite Shimmer ribbon, Elegant Faceted Gems and Dainty Diamonds 3D embossing folder. Created by Stampin Scrapper. For more cards, gifts, ideas, scrapbooking and 3D projects go to stampinscrapper.com, Joyce WhitmanThis is the card that I made for them.  Emily's favorite flower is the peony, so of course, I had to use the Peony Garden designer series paper, Peony dies, Gray Granite Shimmer ribbon and Elegant Faceted Gems.  I used the sentiment from the Last A Lifetime stamp set.

To give the Gray Granite background some texture I used the Dainty Diamonds 3D embossing folder.

Here are some more pictures from the wedding.

It was such a special day for Emily and Jeff.  Not the wedding they had planned, that will be next year, but it was still special.  The love between them and for God was so evident.  What a blessed day!  I am so thankful that we were able to be there with them.

Thank you for stopping in today.  I hope you are having a great week!

June 2020 Paper Pumpkin - Sunshine Box

Stampin Up, Stampin' Up!, 2020 June Paper Pumpkin, Sunshine Box, Notepad Holder, Pen, Gift Card Holder, created by Stampin Scrapper, for more cards, gifts, ideas, scrapbooking and 3D projects go to stampinscrapper.com, Joyce Whitman

Have you ever met someone new and connected so fast, that it was like you knew each other forever.  I have met such a person.  Her name is Diane and she manages the hotel where we had a block of rooms for Emily and Jeff's wedding.  When I saw the Stampin' Up! June Paper Pumpkin, I knew I wanted to make the sunshine box for her.

With everything going on in the country right now, Emily and Jeff decided to delay their big wedding until next summer.  They are still getting married on Friday, but with only immediate family.  It will definitely be a lot smaller, but still special for them.  Jeff's mom and I are trying very hard to make it as special as we can for both of them.

Diane has gone out of her way to help us with things for the wedding before it was delayed and since.  We can't thank her enough for everything she has done for me and Emily and Jeff.  If you ever have need a hotel in Tomball, TX I highly recommend the Hampton Inn.  The hotel is beautiful and I can't say enough good things about them.

Stampin Up, Stampin' Up!, 2020 June Paper Pumpkin, Sunshine Box, Notepad Holder, Pen, Gift Card Holder, created by Stampin Scrapper, for more cards, gifts, ideas, scrapbooking and 3D projects go to stampinscrapper.com, Joyce WhitmanI made 4 of the cards from the kit the way they are designed.  Then I went a little crazy with creating different things for the sunshine box for Diane.

Stampin Up, Stampin' Up!, 2020 June Paper Pumpkin, Sunshine Box, Notepad Holder, Pen, Gift Card Holder, created by Stampin Scrapper, for more cards, gifts, ideas, scrapbooking and 3D projects go to stampinscrapper.com, Joyce WhitmanThe project on the left is a notebook.  I made a cover for a pad of paper using the front section of one of the cards and the accessories from the kit.  The project on the right is a gift card holder.  I found the designer series paper from my retired stash.  It is from the Tropical Oasis designer series paper from the 2020 Janauary - May mini catalog.  It was perfect for this project.  I also used a small piece of designer series paper from the Artistry Blooms paper pack in the new annual catalog for the pen.  The colors coordinated so nice.

I love how you can use one product from one suite and it coordinates with another suite.  That is one of the biggest reasons why I love Stampin' Up!  Everything coordinates!

Every year, after Sale-A-Bration, I  have an event for anyone who has purchased over $100 or joined my team.  This year I was unable to have it, but I still wanted to do something for everyone.  I made one of these boxes for each of my customers that qualified with goodies in it.  I forgot to take a picture of what I put inside of it.  I have been receiving messages from some of the recipients that they love them.  Yay!

It is Monday and a great day to start your week fresh and full of possibilities.  What big plans or goals do you have for this week?

There are a lot of beautiful stamp sets in the new annual catalog that I had a hard time deciding which one I wanted to use.  I was in the middle of coloring this flower from the Prized Peony stamp set and thought, I wonder how this would look colored blue?  So, I changed my colors to Pool Party and different grays.  Which was perfect because I have been wanting to use the beautiful Pool Party Sheer ribbon.  I added the Gray Granite Shimmer ribbon to the Pool Party ribbon for a different look.

Saturday was so fun!  I want to thank everyone who joined me and placed orders with me.  It was a great time, even with some technical difficulties, having my catalog kickoff online.  It was definitely different than having it in person, but still a lot of fun. I learned a lot about technology, I think I might actually be getting the hang of it.  LOL

In my fourth session I spotlighted the World of Good suite from the new Stampin' Up! annual catalog.  The above card is the one I demonstrated on how to make.  You could use this card for anyone with the sentiment I used.  You could also use this as a masculine card by changing the sentiment to Happy Birthday.

What?  Nooooo!  That is a very popular phrase in our house.  You are probably wondering, why?  Well, you all know, we love Disney in our family. So, when Disney Plus was offered we immediately signed up.  On Disney Plus, there are short films that are between 4-8 minutes long and some of them are so funny!   There is a show, where Forky, from Toy Story 4, keeps saying, "What?  Noooooo!"   The What is higher pitched and the No is in a low voice.  We laugh every time we say it.

I thought it would be a fun title for my blog post today.  I have a lot of events that are What?  Nooooo! worthy! LOL  The first one is that I can not wait until tomorrow for my Stampin' Up! annual catalog kickoff.   I have a whole day of fun planned out for all of you.  It will begin at 9:00am EST on my Stampin Scrapper Facebook page.   I will be doing a total of 4 Facebook lives throughout the day.  They will be at 9:00am, 11:00am, 2:00pm and 4:00pm EST.  During the Facebook lives there will be samples of  some of the new products, door prizes, promotions and of course, stamping.  During other times on my page there will be videos and other fun post throughout the day.

Don't forget to check out my Stampin Scrapper Facebook page for my 4 questions.  Everyone who comments on the questions will be entered in a drawing for a prize from me.  I will be drawing a name at each of the Facebook lives tomorrow.
