I wanted to let you know that I think I have everything figured out with switching over to Mail Chimp.  You should receive a notification today in your email that I posted on my blog.  If you don't receive it, please let me know.  Thank you for your patience as I get all of this figured out.  I have to say, I did this all by myself.  I didn't even ask my husband, who works with computers, for help.  I wanted to prove to myself that I could do this and learn along the way.  I have definitely learned a lot and I have a lot more to learn.

The last time I had a Memories and More class it was a huge success.  The ladies loved how many cards you can make out of the Memories and More pack.  I am offering this class again using the Delightfully Detailed Memories and More pack.  This pack is so beautiful with so many wonderful sayings and cards.  The main colors we are going to be using are Blackberry Bliss, Black, Grapefruit Grove and Mint Macaron.

In this class you will create 9 cards using the Delightfully Detailed pack, brads and faceted dots.  All of these are included in the class fee along with all the other materials needed to complete the finished cards.  Please bring your adhesives, glue dots, dimensionals and scissors.

The cost for this class is $30.  If you would like to purchase the coordinating stamp set, Detailed With Love, it is an additional $23.50.  Please RSVP with payment by November 2nd.

You will have plenty of supplies left over to make a lot more cards.  I will have sample up of other projects so you can get ideas on other things you can do with the remaining items in your pack.

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me at stampinscraper13@gmail.com.

Fall Friday 2018 Week #7

Stampin Up, Stampin' Up! Takeout Treats stamp set #147858, Leaves Trinkets #146343, Nature's Poem designer series paper #146338, created by Stampin Scrapper, for more cards, gifts, ideas, scrapbooking and 3D projects go to stampinscrapper.com, Joyce Whitman

I was looking through a bin that I have under my craft table with things to use for 3D projects and came across these small cups.  I totally forgot I had them, so I grab them and started creating a project for my Fall Friday series.

I wanted to do a fall theme, not a Halloween and wanted to use something I haven't used in a while.  I have been concentrating on mostly products from the holiday catalog, but it is fun to use things in our annual catalog too.  So, for this project I used the Nature's Poem designer series paper along with the Leaves Trinkets.  The sentiment is from the Takeout Treats stamp set in the holiday catalog.  I guess I used a little bit out of each catalog.

To make this card you will need the following paper.  For a complete list of all the products I used, please see the end of this post.

Cardstock

Blackberry Bliss

  • cut at 2 1/2" x 11"  score at 3/4", 3 1/4", 4" and 6 1/2"
  • cut at 3/4" x 6 1/2" for the band
  • scrap for 1 1/8" scalloped circle

Grapefruit Grove

  • cut at 2 3/8" x 3 5/8"
  • cut at 5/8" x 2 3/8"
  • scrap for 1 1/4" circle

Whisper White

  • scrap for 1" circle

Nature's Poem Designer Series Paper

  • cut at 3" x 7 3/4" for the cup
  • cut at 2 1/4" x 3 1/2"
  • cut at 1/2" x 2 1/4"

For step by step directions to make this project please go to my post Merry Christmas Monday Week #3 from last year.

You can fill the little cup with what ever little treats you want to. You can also put a gift card behind the band that wraps around the top.  This would be a cute secret Santa gift, or a thank you gift for someone.  Do you know someone that loves coffee?  How cute would this be with a coffee gift card?  Hmm, that gives me an idea!

Next week will be my last Fall Friday and then on November 5th  I will be starting my Merry Christmas Monday series.  I hope you have enjoyed my series so far.

I am so excited for tomorrow.  Mark and I had our 30 year wedding anniversary on Monday and we are going to celebrate it.  We are headed to Columbus for the day and then to a Blue Jackets hockey game.  We both enjoy watching hockey, so we are really looking forward to it.  We were going to go out to dinner on Monday to celebrate too, but he had to work all night, or should I say early morning and I ended up getting a stomach virus.  What a great way to spend our anniversary.  LOL  We weren't even in the same bedroom.  I didn't want him to get sick, so I slept on the couch.  I know the romance was just blooming that night.  LOL

Thank you for taking the time to stop in today.  I hope you are have a great weekend!

Happy Stampin!

I know another Snowman card.  What can I say!  I love them!  This card is one of the four we made at my October Christmas card classes.  I have been drawn to the Smoky Slate color lately and thought the new Balmy Blue was a perfect match for a card with snowmen.

I used Stampin' Write markers, so I stamped the snowmen in Stazon ink.  I used Balmy Blue, Basic Gray, Pumpkin Pie, Real Red, Shaded Spruce, Smoky Slate, and Soft Suede markers to color them.  I added Wink of Stella on the snowmen and on the snow under them.

On Friday night I had my first of quarterly Advanced Card class.  It was a lot of fun and had great feed back from the ladies taking the class.  Here are a couple of pictures from the night.

IMG_4732

They are really concentrating on their cards.   Did you notice the Spirited Snowmen stamp set on the table?  LOL  Yes, we did make a card using the stamp set.

IMG_4730

They were working on one of the projects that used either embossing powder or heat tool to set other inks.

I can't wait for the next class.  I already have a list started on techniques I want to teach.

Tomorrow night I am going to have my Christmas bingo.   I have had so much fun working on the Christmas cards we are going to make, wrapping the gifts and decorating my studio.  The daycare kids love the Christmas things I have put out already.  I will take pictures and share them with you next week.

Thank you for stopping by today!  I hope you have a fabulous Thursday!

Every time I go to Target I always check out the candy section to see if there is anything new that I could use for one of my projects.  When I went the other day I found these Caramel Apple Pops in different flavors.  I have always loved the green apple and caramel flavored ones that have been around for years.  These are different as they come in golden delicious, green apple and red macintosh.  I have to say they are delicious!

I was thinking about what I could make for the daycare kids and for the grand Randall's to take to school for their Halloween parties.  I made a cover like this one last year and thought it would be perfect for this year too.  If you missed the post from last year you can click on Fall Friday 2017 Week #4 to see it.
