Thank you so much for all you kind comments last week about my Impossible Box project. I have added a video on how to create the project to the Fall Friday 2020 - Week #1.
This week's project is a style that is very different for me. I love Fall and all the cute things that go with it. The fall colors, pumpkins, scarecrows (cute ones), bon fires, sweater/sweatshirts, etc. I am not into the scary stuff, especially for Halloween. So this project, is not something I would usually make, but I thought I would give it a try. Hey, you have to mix things up every once in a while.
I haven't used the Mini Paper Pumpkin Boxes in a long time and I had the Magic In This Night designer series paper left over from my holiday paper share, so I thought I would combine the two. I really don't like spiders, so this paper wasn't my favorite in the pack, but I love the color Blackberry Bliss.
Can we just talk about this beautiful, I mean beautiful, ribbon?! It is the 1 1/2" Metallic Mesh Ribbon in the holiday catalog. It is so sparkly and fun, that you could use it for any occasion. I am thinking it would be beautiful on a Christmas card.
I used a few different products on this project. I used the Banner Year and Celebration Tidings stamp sets along with the Little Treat Boxes (for the spiders) and Snow Time (for the sentiment) dies. This project is one that is made with a little bit of this and a little bit of that from different products.
To make this project you will need the following paper. For a complete list of all the products I used, please see the end of this post.
Mini Pizza Boxes
- cut at 3 5/8" x 5 3/8"
- cut 2 at 7/8" x 5 5/8"
- cut 2 at 7/8" x 3 5/8"
- cut 2 at 3/4" x 5 1/2"
- cut 2 at 3/4" x 3 1/2"
Magic In The Night Designer Series Paper
For the sentiment I stamped it in Blackberry Bliss and the spider webs in Memento Black ink. To finish off the project I cut 3 spiders from the Black Glitter Paper.
I put different types of candy in mine, but you could put in different things. I know our note cards fit perfectly in them, gift cards, jewelry, etc.
I know this project is not my style, but I really do like how it turned out. Sometimes it is good to get out of your comfort zone and try something new.
Thank you for stopping in today. Have a wonderful weekend and please stop by next week for another fun fall project.
Happy Stampin and
