In May I had my Create With Friends card class and one of the cards we made was this Let's Celebrate You card.  I had originally made the card on the left, which I love.  During my class I decided to flip the Hydrangea Hill designer series paper over and use the other side.  I love them both, but I have to say, the one on the left is my favorite.  Which one is yours?

This is a very simple card that you could easily make duplicates of it in no time at all.  

To make this project you will need the following paper.  For a complete list of all the products I used, please see the end of this post.

Cardstock:

Gorgeous Grape

• cut at 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" score at 4 1/4"
• cut at 1/4" x 5 1/4"

Basic White

• cut 2 at 4" x 5 1/4"

Hydrangea Hill Designer Series Paper

• cut at 1 3/4" x 5 1/4"

I added the Gorgeous Grape sheer ribbon around the Basic White piece of card stock and tied a bow.  I added three little dots to match the dots on the designer series paper.

January-June Mini Catalog Last Chance Products PDF

Last weekend I had my first online bingo night and it was so much fun! It was so wonderful being able to craft with old and new friends.  I am very thankful for Zoom.  

Between playing bingo games, we made 4 cards using the Well Suited Suite from the 2021 Stampin' Up! January - June catalog.  This suite is perfect for masculine cards.  I know I always need masculine cards and I am pretty sure so does everyone else.  

On this card I used the Subtle embossing folder and the Tailored Tag punch. I also used the Balloon Bouquet punch, which has sold out,  that was on the Last Chance list.  

When I was on Facebook, I saw this card on the Stampin' Up! page.  It was created by a talented member of the Stampin' Up! Artisan team.  I fell in love with it and knew I wanted to make it.   I used one of the dies in the Suit and Tie dies and the Well Suited designer series paper.  

This was such a fun card to make!  I used the Tailored Tag punch and the Well Suited designer series paper.  

I saw this layout a while ago and have been wanting to make it.  I thought it was such a great masculine card.  You could also make it a feminine card just by changing the designer series paper. 

I also made some alternative cards to show everyone different ways you can use this wonderful suite.  Above are three of the cards that I shared with my class.  Of course, I had to make a Minnie Mouse card.  LOL

When I saw this pattern in the designer series paper pack, I immediately thought it would be great on a baby card.  The card is a little wider than a normal size envelope.  How was I going to make it so you could send it.  Then I remembered that we had made a gift bag with a card on it at my Holiday Extravaganza.  This is perfect when you want to give a gift and card for a new little angel. 

I had so much fun creating the projects and sharing them in my class. Which one is your favorite?

Welcome to our NEW AT SU! Blog hop! We are a group of Stampin’ Up! demonstrators from around the world who are Hoppin’ with creative paper crafting ideas to share with you. Today we are showcasing products from the mini catalog. I have been wanting to play with the Hydrangea Hill suite, but haven't had a chance.  So, today I did!

I was trying to decide what I wanted to make for my project this month.  I could make a card, a scrapbook page, a 3D project or maybe something else.  Then I remembered that Stampin' Up! has wonderful boxes in different sizes.  Which is perfect as I need a couple of boxes for some gifts.  

The first box I decorated was the Mini Paper Pumpkin box.  I love the size of this box.   You can make note cards and add it to the box and you have a perfect gift.  You can put candy, jewelry or gift tags just to name a few.  The possibilities are endless.  

To decorate this Mini Paper Pumpkin box I used the following products:

This box, Love You Always Treat box, is fun to decorate.  You can find this box in the Stampin' Up! January - June mini catalog. This box is smaller but deeper than the above box.  What is fun about this box is that the inside slides out.  I like to use this box for when I am giving someone a gift card.  The gift card fits perfect and it makes it look special.  Who doesn't love to receive a pretty gift box!

To decorate this Love You Always Treat box I used the following products:

Want to give someone a little treat and make it look special?  I have the perfect box for you!  The Clear Tiny Treat Box from Stampin' Up!  This is one of the easiest boxes to decorate.  You can wrap a piece of ribbon around it and tie a bow and your done!  You can also wrap designer series paper around it.  To make nicer, you can add a bow too.  To go one step further, you can do the designer series paper, ribbon and put a sentiment on it, like I did in the above picture.   So many possibilities!

On Wednesday night I had my Pretty Perennial Class on my Stampin Scrapper Facebook page.  It was so much fun!  I haven't done a Facebook live in a long time.  I didn't realize how much I missed it, until I was doing this one.  I am definitely going to be doing more of them.  

Creative fold cards are so fun to make!  I saw a card like this online, created by Peggy Noe, and loved how she used the Sunflower dies to cut out the big flowers and off set them.  I had to use it on this card.  I love how it turned out. 

This type of creative fold is called the gate fold.

You all know I love butterflies, but the Dragonfly Garden stamp set is adorable.  The best part is that it comes with a coordinating punch, Dragonflies.  You can get both as a bundle and save 10%!  Yay!  

On the wings of the dragonflies I used the ink pad that matched the cardstock and a blender pen to color them.  I then added Wink of Stella on each one of them.  The dragonflies and sentiment were stamped with the Memento ink.  

The Misty Moonlight and Mossy Meadow panels were embossed with the Greenery embossing folder.  The Blackberry Bliss and Bumblebee panels were embossed with the Tasteful Textiles embossing folder.  I then cut them out with the Stitched Rectangle dies.

I have been having so much fun creating projects to share with you.  As you all know, I love the beautiful Paper Blooms designer series paper in the Sale-A-Bration brochure.  I think it is because it coordinates with the Pretty Perennials stamp set in the mini catalog, which I also love.  

I saw a presentation by Dena Rekow, who helped design this stamp set for her $1,000,000 in sales, and loved it.  She had so many creative projects using this bundle.  

For my February online class, I am using this wonderful bundle, which includes the Pretty Perennials stamp set and Perennials Petals dies.  This class will be on Wednesday, February 16th at 6:30pm.  I am not sure if I am going to do it on FaceBook or Zoom yet.  We will be making 6 cards, 2 of three different designs, including envelopes.  The fee for this class is as follows:

This is the second swap card that I made for the new Stampin' Up! 2021 mini catalog.  I used the Treasures of Life stamp set, which is a perfect set for grandparents.  I am not a grandparent yet, but I am sure I will be keeping this set for a very long time.  I paired it with the beautiful Fine Art Floral designer series paper.

I used the Stitched Shapes and the Layering Square dies to cut out the stamped images.  The stitching around the edges really make the card look special.  I wanted to include the Night of Navy color that was in the paper, so I used it to stamp the images.  I added the Mossy Meadow Braided Trim to finish off the card.

Every time Stampin' Up! comes out with a new catalog, the swapping of cards begins!  They are so much fun and you get to see so many creative ideas.  If you don't know what a swap is, let me explain.  When you participate in a swap you will make a certain number of the same card (I had to make 13 of the above card).  You send them off to the organizer and then she will send you back different cards (I got 12 back).  This is a great way to get samples of the different products and also get ideas for your own future projects.  I have to say this time the cards were awesome!

On this card I used a layout that I saw my sweet friend, Mary Knabe, share on Facebook.  I love creative fold cards, especially if they are easy.  I used the Ice Cream Corner suite in the new Stampin' Up! 2021 mini catalog.  When I attended the virtual OnStage in November, I won this stamp set.  I couldn't wait to start playing with it.  So, as soon as I was able to order it (being a demonstrator you get to order the products early, Yay!) it was the first thing on my list. 

In the above picture you can see how it folds.  Isn't is cute?  The designer series paper is from the Ice Cream Corner pack.  This suite has a beautiful Blackberry Bliss ribbon, but it was too wide for what I was wanting.   So, I used the Snail Mail Twine Combo Pack.  The ice cream cone was punched out using the Ice Cream Cone Builder Punch.  

To make this project you will need the following paper.  For a complete list of all the products I used, please see the end of this post.

Cardstock:

Blackberry Bliss

• cut at 4 1/4" x 9 1/4" score at 1 7/8" on each end
• cut at 1 3/4" x 4 1/4" (this is the piece you cut off the piece of cardtock above)

Basic White

• cut at 4" x 5 1/4"

Blushing Bride, Cinnamon Cider, Pool Party, Purple Posy

• scraps for ice cream and cone

Ice Cream Corner Designer Series Paper

• cut 2 at 1 5/8" x 4" 
• cut at 1 1/2" x 4"

You could use this card for a thank you, thinking of you, birthday, congratulations, etc.  There are so many possibilities with the Ice Cream Corner suite.  I can't wait to start creating more.
