I had made these invites for Emily's Bachelorette party and didn't want to share them you all of you until after they went out.  Due to the situation going on, her party had to be postponed.  They are actually going to be doing it after the wedding.  I think there will be a lot of things done differently this year.

Spring Shadow Box

Stampin Up, Stampin' Up!, Spring Shadow Box, created by Stampin Scrapper. For more cards, gifts, ideas, scrapbooking and 3D projects, go to stampinscrapper.com, Joyce Whitman

My lovely ladies have been asking me to create another shadow box and have a class.  This time I made a Spring one!  It is definitely what I needed at this time.  It brings more sunshine into my craft room.

I had my first online class on Sunday and this is the project we made.  The ladies loved it!  I had some major technical issues, but I was able to just start over and it went great.  Thank you to all of the attendees for being so patient with me.   I really appreciate it.

Tonight I am having my first Zoom online class.  I am so excited and nervous all at the same time.  I have learned so much in this last week, that sometimes I feel as my brain is going to explode.  LOL

I am so thankful for all of the wonderful people that I have met through Stampin' Up! and today I am even more thankful.  I was trying to set up Zoom to do my class and I was having some issues.  So, I called my dear friend, Mary, and she was able to help me figure out what was going on.  It was all because of a setting.

I learned that it is best to use two devices, so that one will be on my project and one on me.  Another demonstrator, Linda, whom I have never met or talked to before, called me and walked me through how to do get all my settings right on both devices.  You are probably wondering how she knew to call me.  Well, there is a Facebook group for leaders with Stampin' Up! and she commented on a post how to use two devices.  I sent her a message with a question and she was so willing to help me.

How blessed was I?!  I don't know if I would have been able to figure it out on my own.  I was thanking God all night for putting all the wonderful people that I met through Stampin' Up! in my life.

I can't believe it is Friday already.  This week has gone by so fast for me.  I hope all of you have a great day and a wonderful weekend.

Since I am redoing my craftroom I am going through things before I put them back.  While I was doing that I found the above Pressed Petals Journal.  I then looked through the mini catalog for ideas on what stamp set to use.  In the back of the catalog there are ideas on how to use a stamp set different ways.  I was immediately drawn to the Timeless Tulips because of the colors they used.

I love to make shadow boxes.  I have made 2 snowman, a Christmas and a Fall shadow box.  I have had people ask me to make a Spring one, so I did.  I have been postponing this class for two months, so I am really hoping we can have it in  May.  As of now, I will be having this class on May 3rd at 2:00pm.

I will provide everything you need to make this project, including the frame, for $30.   The Stampin' Up! retirement list will be coming out soon, so I need to make sure I have all the products for this class.  Please RSVP with your class fee by April 19th.  Your spot will not be guaranteed until I receive your class fee.  This class will have a limited number of spots available.  So, hurry, don't wait to sign up.

I have had to change another class, a couple of times already, so I am really hoping we can have it on May 8th at 6:30pm.  I love the stamp set Painted Harvest!  I am having a class to show you how you can use it in so many different ways.  In this class we will be making 5 different projects using the Painted Harvest stamp set.

The fee for this class is $40, which includes the Painted Harvest stamp set (so you can go home and make more of what we do in class) and all the supplies to create the projects.

There is a leaf punch that coordinates with this stamp set.  If you wish to purchase it, it will be an additional $19 for a total of $59.

Please RSVP by April 19th along with the class fee.  Your spot is not guaranteed until I receive your class fee.  There is limited space, so hurry so you can make amazing projects with the Painted Harvest stamp set.

On May 29th at 6:30pm I will be having my Stamp Camp Class.  We will be making 6 cards (2 cards of 3 different designs) including envelopes.  The fee for this class is $15 or FREE with a $25 order placed at class.  Please RSVP by Sunday, May 24th if you would like to attend.

If we are still in a stay home order in May, I will have the above classes in June.  If you have any questions, please let me know.

Have a great Friday and weekend!

The third card I created I used the Thoughtful Blooms stamp set from Sale-A-Bration.  On this card I wanted to do something different with the cardstock, so I put the Real Red and Whisper White at an angel.  I love how it turned out.

Mr. Wonderful's Birthday Card - Country Club Suite

StampinUpCountryClubSuiteStampinScrapperJoyceWhitman2

When Robin and I went to a Stampin' Up! event in November, we got to see the 2020 mini catalog.  As soon as we both saw the Country Club suite we knew we had to get it.  Especially, since both of our husbands love to golf.  At the events, they have demonstrators present their creations using a new product from the new catalog.   I can't remember the name of the person who presented at our event, but she made this card.  We both fell in love with it immediately!

I always have extra cards, for different occasions, in my studio that I can grab when I need a card in a hurry.  At my Stamp A Stack class, we made 5 different cards so the attendees could also have cards ready to use at anytime.  We made multiples of birthday, feminine and masculine, sympathy, get well and congratulations cards.  On Friday I shared the masculine birthday card we made.  If you missed it, check it out HERE.  For the congratulations card, we made the above card, where  I used the Beautiful Friendships stamp set.

StampinUpBeautifulFriendshipStampinScrapperJoyceWhitmanThis is also the stamp set that I used on Emily's shower invites.  I am not sure why I waited so long to order this stamp set, because I love it!

When Linda told me her favorite color was red, I immediately thought of the Peaceful Poppies suite.  I started with making the Mini Magazine Holder first and then made the cards.  I wanted to use the other designs of paper from the Peaceful Poppies designer series paper pack on the cards.  All the designs are so pretty.  I wanted them to be simple and easy to make.

StampinUpPaintedPoppiesMiniMagazineHolderWithCardsStampinScrapperJoyceWhitman11I made one of the cards to match the paper I used on the holder.  I then used the Poppy Moments dies to create the flower and leaf for the outside of the holder.  There is another flower on the other side of the holder.

Here is the video I did during my Facebook Live on how to make the mini magazine holder.
