It is so relaxing for me when I get to decorate my Happy Planner.  It just makes me giddy. I call it my second bible, LOL.  Who doesn't want to look at something pretty and cheerful.  This month I used new stamp sets from the Sale-A-Bration and Occasions catalogs and from the annual catalog.

In the picture above I used the Dragonfly Dreams.  I am in love with this stamp set.  You can do so much with it and it is pretty.  I have been busy working on projects for my Stamp Camp and Open House this week and this is one of the first stamp sets I used.

In this picture I used the Sale-A-Bration Avant Garden stamp set.  I then colored in the flowers using our new Watercolor pencils. Another favorite of mine.  I love to color, so these are perfect for me. Do you enjoy coloring?

In January we usually get some snow, so of course I had to have a snowman page!  I love, love, love, did I say love snowman.  They are so cute!  I keep up my snowman decorations that I use at  Christmas time until the end of January.  They make me happy!  Do you like snowman?

When I was decorating my planner it was really cold outside, so I wanted something that reminded me of spring.  The Butterfly Basics stamp set is the one I used.

I am off to keep working on projects for my Open House.  I will be sharing those with you next week.

Have a great day and thank you for stopping by!

Happy Stampin!

This is one one of my favorite stamp sets, Christmas Magic, that I used for these two pages.  I also used a new product from the 2017 Occasions catalog.  Can you guess what it is?  Were you thinking, Watercolor Pencils?  I love, love, love, love them.  Did I say I love them!

Here is a picture of them close up.

You are going to love the Watercolor Pencils too!  You can use them as is, with Blender Pens or Aqua Painters.  They are so much fun!  I can't wait to play with my new products this week.  I am off on vacation until January 2nd so I plan on spending some time in my stampin studio.  I am so excited!

Here are some other pictures of the planner that I did for December.

Can I share a little secret with you?  Did you noticed that there is only part of the week in the picture above?  Well, I was trying something new, and guess what?  It didn't work!   LOL  I am not going to show you how bad it turned out.  I look at it and say to myself, "What were you trying to do?"  It just isn't pretty.

Emily loves to decorate her planner too, so we are going to work on ours together while she is home.  I know she will have great ideas as she is a wonderful artist.  Emily also has beautiful handwriting, so I may have to have her write on some of my pages.

I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas.  Were you on Santa's nice list?  I sure was!  My family definitely spoiled me!  I have to say I spoiled them too.

Happy Stampin!

October's Happy Planner

IMG_7032It was time to decorate my Happy Planner for October and I couldn't wait.  The above picture was the first page of October that I decorated, as I ran out of time the week before to work on it.  This page was easy to decorate as Saturday is my 28th Wedding Anniversary to my Mr. Wonderful, Mark.  I used the same colors we had in our wedding, Smoky Slate and Sweet Sugarplum.  Believe it or not I used a stamp set that you would think of only using for birthdays, Birthday Blossoms.  For the banner and Happy Anniversary it came from the stamp set, Banners For You.

This page I used the Acorny Thank You stamp set with Crumb Cake, Calypso Coral, Night of Navy and Old Olive ink.

I just love the stamp set Cookie Cutter Halloween.  I think I have used it almost everyday on something.  Do you have a stamp set that you are drawn to?  I am going to be sad after Halloween when we won't be able to use all of the little guys in this set.  I will, however, be able to still use the scarecrow.  I have to say he is my favorite out of all of them.

This page has the first few days of November since Halloween is on Monday.  How cute is the jar with the candy corn falling out of it? One thing I like about the Happy Planner is you can use the markers from Stampin' Up! and it does not go through the paper.

Do you decorate your planner?  I hope you get some inspiration from my pages to give you ideas on how you can decorate one too.

Have a wonderful day and enjoy this beautiful fall day!

Happy Stampin'

September's Happy Planner

FullSizeRender                                             FullSizeRender-2

Have you ever heard of the Happy Planner?  I hadn't until one of Emily's friends bought her one as a gift.  Then my neighbor was telling me about them, so I had to go see what all the fuss was about. Oh my goodness!  A planner (which every organizational person like me needs), you can add pages to it and you can decorate it!!  Of course I went right out and bought one and so did Erica.  I guess you could call us a Happy Planner Family.  LOL

I had grand plans that I was going to decorate every page and I was going to love all of them.  Well, that really didn't work.  I haven't had the chance to decorate every page and I haven't liked all of the ones I have done.  I am not letting that keep me down.  It is a learning process and what I like and don't like.  I have to say I really DO like the ones in the pictures above for September.

I wanted to use the fall colors as it is getting cooler out, maybe not today, and it will be the official first day of fall next week.    There is enough room for me to still write in the spaces, even with my stamping. I really do like how these came out.

I used the following products in the pictures below to decorate these.   If you would like to purchase any of them, just click on the picture.

Thank you for stopping by today and I have a wonderful Monday!

Happy Stampin!
