Fall Friday 2020 Week #8 - Little Treats Milk Carton
10/30/2020
Can you believe this is the last week of my Fall Friday series for 2020? When I started this series this year, I remember thinking I have 8 weeks for projects. I have a lot of time. Well, no I don't! This is the last one for this year. I am a little sad that it is ending.
This week's project actually is a take on one I did many years ago with the envelope punch board. This time I figured out the measurements and made it from that. I actually like to take something and figure out how they created it, especially 3D projects.
I used the Little Treats bundle in the Stampin' Up! holiday catalog. I love this stamp set and die and since it is a bundle you can save 10%. You know what else you can save on? The beautiful Magic In This Night designer series paper! It is included in the Designer Series Paper Sale, which ends on Saturday, October 31st.
To make this project you will need the following paper. For a complete list of all the products I used, please see the end of this post.
Cardstock:
Blackberry Bliss:
- cut at 1 3/4" x 1 3/4"
Whisper White:
- cut at 1 3/4" x 1 3/4"
Black Glimmer Paper:
- scraps for three spiders
Magic In This Night Designer Series Paper:
- cut at 6" x 9 1/2"
- score on 6" side at 1 1/2". 3 3/4" and 5 1/4"
- score on 9 1/2" side at 2 1/4", 4 1/2", 6 3/4" and 9"
Here is a template of the designer series paper.
You will score on the solid lines and cut away the shaded areas. You will have to cut up the vertical lines from the bottom up to the first horizontal score line. This is going to create the bottom of your box.
I stamped the image from the Little Treats stamp set using the Memento Black ink. I love how the spiders sparkle with the Black Glimmer paper, which were cut out using the Little Treat Box dies. To tie the box shut I used the beautiful Glittered Organdy Ribbon from the Stampin' Up! annual catalog.
Tomorrow is the last day!
