I used the Little Treats bundle in the Stampin' Up! holiday catalog.  I love this stamp set and die and since it is a bundle you can save 10%.  You know what else you can save on?  The beautiful Magic In This Night designer series paper!  It is included in the Designer Series Paper Sale, which ends on Saturday, October 31st.

To make this project you will need the following paper.  For a complete list of all the products I used, please see the end of this post.

You will score on the solid lines and cut away the shaded areas.  You will have to cut up the vertical lines from the bottom up to the first horizontal score line.  This is going to create the bottom of your box.

Fall Friday 2020 Week #7 - Mini Coffee Cup Carrier

I have been wanting to play with the Stampin' Up! Mini Coffee Cups and Carrier since I saw them in the holiday catalog.  I finally got around to it for this weeks Fall Friday project. I love how this project turned out!  You can use it for Fall or for Halloween.

Stampin Up, Stampin' Up!, Fall Friday 2020, Banner Year stamp set, Warm Hugs stamp set, Mini Coffee Cups, Mini Coffee Carrier, Warm Wraps dies, Layering Circle Dies, created by Stampin Scrapper. For more cards, gifts, ideas, scrapbooking and 3D projects go to stampinscrapper.com. I used the Banner Year stamp set for the pumpkins on the cups and the Warm Hugs for the sentiments on them.  Both of the were stamped using Pumpkin Pie ink and the stems of the pumpkins were stamped with the Garden Green ink.

In this picture I want to let you know that I put 2 round embellishment containers under each of the cups.  I wanted to show you how the cups looked next to the carrier.  Here is a picture of them in there without the embellishment containers.

This is how it will look when you put the cups all the way to the bottom of the carrier.  You can see the design a little, but not as much as the first picture.

Here is a side view of the carrier.  You will see in the measurements below that I cut my Plaid Tidings designer series paper and Pumpkin Pie cardstock at 3" and 6".  They are too long for the carrier, but I did that on purpose.  I didn't want to have to deal with trying to figure out 1/16" of the paper.  It was easier and I think it looks better.  I am all for making things easier to make.

For more cards, gifts, ideas, scrapbooking and 3D projects go to stampinscrapper.com. Here is a close up of what the stamped images look like on the band that goes around the cups.  They were pretty easy to make.  You need to be patient if you are going to cover the cups.  To get a template, I took a cup apart and traced it and cut it out.  I then traced the cut out piece on my cardstock.  I used the liquid glue to adhere it, so I had a little bit of time to move it around and make sure it was straight.  The sentiments are popped up with dimensionals.

This was such a fun project to work on.  I can't wait to make one for Christmas.  These are going to make the perfect gift for a lot of people.

Thank you for stopping in today.  Have a great weekend!

For more cards, gifts, ideas, scrapbooking and 3d projects, go to stampinscrapper.com, Joyce WhitmanI used the Warm Hugs stamp set from the Stampin' Up! holiday catalog for the sentiment on this project.   It was perfect!  I got the Starbucks's latte packets from Amazon, but you can find them in stores.  I punched out the sentiment with a 1 3/8" circle punch (retired), since it fit perfect with the Story Label punch.  You could easily use one of the circles from the Layering Circle dies.

To make this project you will need the following paper.  For a complete list of all the products I used, please see the end of this post.

Cardstock:

Cajun Craze

  • cut at 3 3/4" x 11" score at 7 1/4" and 7 3/4"

Crumb Cake, Early Espresso and Mini Macaron

  • scraps for leaves and acorn

For more cards, gifts, ideas, scrapbooking and 3d projects, go to stampinscrapper.com, Joyce WhitmanTo make the hole for the latte packet to slide in, you can use any punch you have.  I used the Story Label punch from the annual catalog.  Slide the end of the cardstock that has the smallest section all the way into the punch.  Center it from on each side and punch.

I have a couple of tips for you:

  • Do not throw away the piece you punch out, as you will use it at the top for the sentiment
  • Put dimensionals at the very top of the holder to adhere your sentiment.  You want to make sure there is a space to put the latte under to hold it
  • Use a strong adhesive, Tear and Tape or Stampin' Seal+ to adhere the bottom section to the main section

I finished decorating the latte holder with punching out the two leaves and the acorn from the Autumn Punch Pack.

Welcome to Fall Friday 2020 Week #5!  This weeks project I used the Rectangle Tins in the Stampin' Up! holiday catalog.  Don't they remind you of the Altoids mint containers.   That was the first thought I had when I saw them.  I actually have a bunch of the Altoid containers because I was going to try and see what I could do with them.

I used the Harvest Hello stamp set for the pumpkin and punched it out with the Apple Builder punch.  For the coloring I used the Cajun Craze, Old Olive and Pumpkin Pie Stampin' Blends.  I just love them for coloring.  It is so much fun!  I then punched out leaves from Bumblebee, Cajun Craze, Early Espresso and Pumpkin Pie cardstock using the Autumn Punch Pack.  The plaid designer series paper is from the Plaid Tidings paper pack.  This time I went with a color that isn't used that much in the fall, Pretty Peacock.

The sentiment is from the Banner Year stamp set stamped with Pretty Peacock ink.  I punched it out with the Classic Label punch from the annual catalog.   To finish off the project, I added the 2020-2022 In Color Enamel Dots (Bumblebee) to the sentiment.

What did you think of this week's project?  It is a fast project that you can make for anyone for any occasion.  I will definitely order more of these little tins!

UPDATED TO INCLUDE VIDEO AND MEASUREMENTS

I saw a triple cube card in an email the other day and realized that is has been a long time since I made one.  I thought it would be fun to make one for my Fall Friday series.  I love different creative folds and types of cards and thought you would like this one too.

I love the orange, yellow and brown in this paper.  It reminds me of candy corn.  Even thought I don't like candy corn, I like the little pumpkins, they remind me of fall.  This paper, Plaid Tidings, is part of the Stampin' Up! Designer Series Paper Sale.  Yay!

I stamped the pumpkins from the Gather Together stamp set with Early Espresso ink and colored them with Stampin' Blends.  I used the Cajun Craze and Pumpkin Pie on the pumpkins and the Early Espresso Stampin' Write marker for the stems.  The leaves in Bumblebee, Cajun Craze, Early Espresso and Pumpkin Pie are from either the Gathered Leaves dies or the Autumn Punch Pack.  To finish off the project I used the Metallic ribbon that is part of the combo pack with Basket Weave ribbon.

Welcome!  I am so happy you are here today for my Fall Friday project.  I had seen this Welcome sign on Facebook, created by Anne Ghizzone, and have been wanting to make it ever since.  As soon as I saw it, I sent her a message and asked, more like pleaded, if she wouldn't mind if I Case'd (create and share everything) her project.  She was so gracious and said absolutely.  I was so excited.  Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful project, Anne.

I am super excited for tomorrow.  I don't think I am going to sleep much tonight.  Tomorrow is my Virtual Holiday Extravaganza!  I can't wait! It will be different this year, as it is virtual, but I am praying that everyone has a great time and loves the projects and goodies.  I will start next week sharing with all of you some of the projects and goodies we made for the attendees.

Thank you for stopping by today and have a fabulous weekend!

Fall Friday 2020 Week #2 - Mini Paper Pumpkin Box

Fall Friday

Thank you so much for all you kind comments last week about my Impossible Box project.  I have added a video on how to create the project to the Fall Friday 2020 - Week #1.

For more cards, gifts, ideas, scrapbooking and 3D projects go to stampinscrapper.com, Joyce WhitmanThis week's project is a style that is very different for me.  I love Fall and all the cute things that go with it.  The fall colors, pumpkins, scarecrows (cute ones), bon fires, sweater/sweatshirts, etc.  I am not into the scary stuff, especially for Halloween.  So this project, is not something I would usually make, but I thought I would give it a try.  Hey, you have to mix things up every once in a while.

Fall Friday

UPDATED ON 9-12-2020 TO INCLUDE VIDEO

Welcome to my Fall Friday series!  I am so happy you stopped by to check out my first project this year.  I have never made an impossible box before, so I thought this was a great time to try it.  Surprisingly, it was easier to make than I thought I would be.

You might be asking what is an impossible box.  It is a treat box where the lid is attached to the bottom part of the box.  I had a lot of request for a video on how to make this project, which made my day!  On Saturday night I did a Facebook live showing how easy it is to make this box.  Here is the video.
