I need to first start this blog post off with an apology. I try very hard to have my post online by 8:00am at the latest on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturdays. Today, however, it is not getting post until a lot later. I have been trying to play catch up since we got back from Disney on the 14th of July. We then had to go out of town over the weekend for a wedding that Emily was in, which meant I got nothing done over the weekend. Yesterday was Emily's last day here before leaving for Texas very, very early this morning. I wanted to spend as much time as possible with her, since we won't see her again until Thanksgiving.
So, needless to say, I haven't been on top of my postings as I usually am. I will be working very hard this week to get back on track and get ready for my three classes this week. All I can say is I am so glad I have my best friend, Robin, to help me get everything done. I don't think I would be able to do it with out her this week.
Now, on to today's post. We are going to be making the above card at my Stamp Camp classes this week. Every month I pick a stamp set to feature and this month it is the Coffee Cafe stamp set with coordinating framelits, Coffee Cups. I used the CASEing Tuesday card, pictured below, for my inspiration.
I have the same layout as the above card, but I used a different stamp set and the Share What You Love designer series paper.
To make this project you will need the following products:
- cut at 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" score at 4 1/4"
- scraps for the lids of the cups
- cut at 3 1/2" x 3 3/4"
Whisper White Cardstock
- cut at 3 1/4" x 5 1/5" for the coffee cups
- cut at 4" x 5 1/4" for the inside
- scrap for the beans
Share What You Love Designer Series Paper
- cut at 2" x 5 1/2"
- cut at 1 1/2" x 2"
I used the new Detailed Trio punch for the corners on the Grapefruit Grove cardstock and the Banner Triple Punch on the designer series paper. For the banner punch you will want to cut your paper just a hair under 2" to fit into the punch.
I used snail on everything, except the Grapefruit Grove cardstock that is adhered using the Stampin Dimensionals.
I am going to make this a short post so I can get this out to all of you. Thank you for stopping by today! I hope you are having a great day!
