Rainbow of Happiness Card

Stampin Up, Stampin' Up!, Rainbow of Happiness bundle, Rainbow of Happiness stamp set, Brilliant Rainbow dies, Cloud Punch, created by Stampin Scrapper. For more cards, gifts, ideas, scrapbooking and 3D projects go to stampinscrapper.com, Joyce Whitman

As I am sitting in my craft room writing this blog post I can hear the birds singing. Last year I had a little bird that sat on the tree by the window and would sing every morning. I haven't seen him this year yet. I sure hope he comes back. Hearing the birds singing made me think of spring with everything coming back to life, rain showers and of course, rainbows. On this card I didn't use the typical rainbow colors, which is fun sometimes.

I used the Brilliant Rainbow dies, from the Rainbow of Happiness bundle, to cut out Calypso Coral, Just Jade, Night of Navy and Pool Party cardstock. For the clouds I used the Cloud punch in the Stampin' Up! mini catalog. I added a little bit of color to them using Pool Party ink and a dauber.

This is a fun and easy card that you could make to brighten up someone's day.

Thank you for stopping in today. I hope you have a terrific Thursday.

Sending lots of love and hugs to everyone.

Happy Stampin!

I had so much fun creating this card for my niece's husband, who had neck surgery. I thought this giraffe was perfect for his get well card. I used the Back On Your Feet and Very Versailles stamp sets from the Stampin' Up! annual catalog.

I stamped the giraffe with Memento ink and colored using the Daffodil Delight, Soft Suede and Smoky Slate Stampin' Blends. I stamped the leaves from the Very Versailles stamp set with Old Olive ink. The sentiment was stamped with Early Espresso ink. I did use the Hand Lettered Prose dies that are retired for the Ouch!

I stamped the giraffe on the envelope and colored him to match the front of the card.

This was the first time I had used that stamp set. Not sure why I waited to create with it.

Have a great Monday and week! Sending love and hugs to everyone!

Abstract Beauty Thank You Cards

Stampin Up, Stampin' Up!, Thank you card, Amazing Thanks dies, Beautiful Shapes dies, Abstract Beauty designer series paper, created by Stampin Scrapper. For more cards, gifts, ideas, scrapbooking and 3D projects go to stampinscrapper.com, Joyce Whitman

This is one of those cards that you take a little something from this and a little something from that and create a fun card. I had a purpose in mind when I created this card, to send out to my paper share participants. I always include a card using one of the designer series papers. This time I used the Abstract Beauty designer series paper, which is a new size 4" x 6". This pack is so pretty!

One thing I like about this paper pack is all of the really neat designs. They are very colorful and just plain fun! I love the colors on this paper. There are so many that I had a hard time trying to pick out what color I wanted to use with it. I ended up with Blushing Bride and Black.

Did you notice the fun hexagon shapes? I used the Beautiful Shapes dies to cut them out. I was so excited to see the dies in the Stampin' Up! mini catalog. I didn't have any hexagon dies and my first thought was they would be great for sentiments.

Here is a tip for you on how I got my hexagon frames so straight.

81F64735-89B4-4D19-A2F4-9E1ECD55DFCF_1_201_a.heic

I lined them up on my Silicone Craft Sheet (that way I knew that wouldn't slide) and added Post-It Note tape to just the dies first. Then I placed it on my paper and cut it with the Stampin' Cut & Emboss machine. If you need to cut more than one, make sure you take the paper of carefully, leaving the tape on the dies.

For the thanks on each of the cards I used the Amazing Thanks dies. To make the gold thanks adhere to the background piece easier I used the adhesive sheets from the Stampin' Up! annual catalog. Most of the other products came from the new Stampin' Up! mini catalog.

To decorate the envelope this time, I put it on the same design of paper so it would coordinate with the card.

Hey Sports Fan Suite Birthday Card

Stampin Up, Stampin' Up!, Hey Sports Fan suite, Birthday, Your Biggest Fan stamp set, Sports Event dies, Fan Baker's Twine, Resin Stars, Hey Sports Fan designer series paper, created by Stampin Scrapper. For more cards, gifts, ideas, scrapbooking and 3D projects go to stampinscrapper.com, Joyce Whitman

When I make cards for my family, especially the kids, I try to make them to reflect what they like. When I saw the Hey Sports Fan suite in the Stampin' Up! mini catalog I knew I was going to use it for my nephew's daughter, Raigen.

StampinScrapper,JoyceWhitman

Raigen is an awesome softball player! We are so proud of her and her hard work she puts into everything she does. This picture is of her playing her favorite position, catcher. So of course, I had to include the sheet in the Hey Sports Fan designer series paper that had the catcher designs on it.

I actually used 2 different pieces of designer series paper on this card. I used the piece mentioned above for the background and then I cut out two tickets from another sheet of designer series paper using the Sports Event dies.

I try to decorate the inside of my cards along with the envelope. You should never send out a naked envelope. LOL

StampinScrapper,JoyceWhitman

Look how cute she is! Just like her aunt Joyce. LOL Raigen made my day when she sent me a text telling me she put my card up in her bedroom. That is when I know they really liked my card, it goes in their room.

I finished off her card by adding the red and white Fan Baker's Twine and the Resin Stars.

Thank you Raigen for letting me use your pictures to show you off on my blog. You're the best! Thank you to everyone for stopping by today. I hope you have a great Monday and week.

Stampin Up, Stampin' Up!, Sentimental Swirls stamp set, Flowers & Leaves punch, Happy Birthday card, created by Stampin Scrapper. For more cards, gifts, ideas, scrapbooking and 3D projects go to stampinscrapper.com, Joyce Whitman

I got a chance to play with the new Sentiment Swirl stamp set and it was so much fun. My favorite stamp in this set is the swirl. It is so much fun to create with. The best thing about this stamp set is that it coordinates with the Flowers & Leaves and the Strawberry Builder punches in our annual catalog. Yay!

I will admit I did use a lot of different ink colors on this card. I started with only three colors, Fresh Freesia, Misty Moonlight and Mint Macaron. Then I kept getting out more stamps in the set, so of course, I had to add more colors. I ended up adding Balmy Blue and Daffodil Delight inks. You all know how I love to color, so I used our wonderful Stampin' Blends to color in the flowers and the bird.

Have you ever worked hard on something and then it doesn't work out. Well, that is what happened with this card along with 3 others. You see, I was participating in a swap with other demonstrators, which I have done numerous times, but my cards never arrived to the organizer. The post office had lost my cards, over 50 of them. I couldn't believe it. I was so upset. I am a person if I make a promise, I keep it. I feel like I had let down all the other participants.

This card is one that I made to showcase the Special Moments stamp set and the Simple Marbleous designer series paper from the Sale-A-Bration brochure. These are both available for you to chose for FREE when you purchase $50 or $100 in product. For the flowers I used the Honeybee Home stamp set from the new occasions catalog.
