Oh My Goodness! Look how cute these penguins are! I am absolutely in love with the Penguin Place stamp set and coordinating punch, Penguin Builder, in the Stampin' Up! 2021 holiday catalog. I am also excited that you can get both of these as a bundle and save 10%. Yay! When I started designing this card, I knew I wanted to put snowflake paper in the background, but wasn't sure which one to use. There is a pack of designer series paper that coordinates with this set in the August and September Sale-A-Bration brochure with snowflakes, however, this time I wanted a different color scheme.

I decided on the Peaceful Prints designer series paper, which coordinates with the Peaceful Deer bundle in the holiday catalog, that is in the Sale-A-Bration brochure. Don't you just love how Stampin' Up! has products that coordinate with so many of their other products? I sure do! You can get this designer series paper for FREE until September 30th, when you purchase $50 or $100 in product. 

For the sentiment I used the Ornate Thanks stamp set and embossed it with the white embossing powder in the annual catalog. The white on top of the black really stands out.

Cardstock:

Basic Black

• cut at 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" score at 4 1/4"
• scraps for the penguins

Basic White

• cut at 4" x 5 1/4" - inside the card
• cut at 1/2" x 5 1/2"
• scraps for the penguins

Peaceful Prints Designer Series Paper

• cut at 3" x 5 1/2"

On the inside of the card, I used Real Red ink and the snowflakes stamp in the Penguin Place stamp set. I also added it to the front of my envelope. 

When someone places an order with me, I always send them a thank you card. This card was my thank you card for the month of August and was a big hit. I have heard from several people how much they liked the card. The best compliment is when someone wants to make one of my projects and I have had several ask for the directions. It definitely fills my heart!
