New At SU - Gorgeous Leaves & Pretty Pumpkins

Welcome to our NEW AT SU! Blog hop! I love being a part of this wonderful blog hop with other Stampin' Up! demonstrators from around the world. Each month we share different crafting ideas with all of you! This month we are highlighting products from the Stampin' Up! holiday catalog.
When I started thinking about what project I wanted to make this month, I remembered I had this strip of paper left from the Beauty of the Earth designer series pack. I looked through the holiday catalog to see what stamp set/dies could I use to make a card with it. I turn the page to the Gorgeous Leaves stamp set and knew that I wanted to use that set.
I love this set, but it didn't have a sentiment. So, I turned the page and there was another beautiful stamp set, Pretty Pumpkins.
To make this project you will need the following paper. For a complete list of all the products I used, please see the end of this post.
Cardstock:
Early Espresso
- cut at 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" score at 4 1/4"
Misty Moonlight
- cut at 4 1/8" x 5 3/8"
Basic White
- cut at 4" x 5 1/4"
- scraps for leaves
Beauty Of The Earth Designer Series Paper
- cut at 4" x 5 1/4"
I stamped the leaves with Cajun Craze, Crushed Curry and Merry Merlot and the sentiment was stamped with Early Espresso inks. I cut out the leaves with the Intricate Leaves dies and popped them up with Stampin' Dimensionals.
I stamped three leaves in the inside of the card and stamped the yellow leave on the front of my envelope.
To finish off the card, I used the Gilded Gems and tied a bow with Linen Thread from the annual catalog.

I love the way the paper is so muted because it makes your stamped leaves really pop out! Beautiful and elegant.
