Happy October! It's time for Fall Friday! I saw this box on Pinterest, created by Angie Juda, and loved it! You could use this box for treats, a small gift, gift card holder or what ever you want to use it for. Thank you Angie for sharing your project. I love it!
When I sat down to start working on making this box, I remembered I had a bag of Reese's Halloween miniatures I wanted to use. I opened them up and you are not going to believe what I saw. They had black ones with skulls on them, purple ones with ghost and orange ones with cross bones on them. I knew immediately that I had to use the Cute Halloween designer series paper. As you can tell in the picture above, the purple paper has ghost and the black has skulls, just like the candy. How cool is that?!
I couldn't decide which paper to use, so I made two of them. I love how they turned out. I know I will be making more of these, especially since you could use these for any occasion.
I stamped the sentiment with Memento ink from the Cutest Halloween stamp set. I then cut it out with the Layering Circle dies and put it on the front of the box with dimensionals. I added a bow made with the Black & White Gingham ribbon and finished it with the Cute Stars Adhesive-Backed Sequins.
What would you use this box for?
Thank you for taking time out of your day to stop by. I hope you have a fabulous Friday, weekend and October. I am excited for my weekend. I have my Christmas card in person class tonight and my online class on Saturday at 2:00pm on my Stampin Scrapper FaceBook page. I would love it you stopped by and said hi on Facebook. Do you have any fun things planned for this weekend?
Sending lots of love and hugs to everyone!
To make this project you will need the following paper. For a complete list of all the products I used, please see the end of this post.
