Welcome to our NEW AT SU! Blog hop! I love being a part of this wonderful blog hop with other Stampin' Up! demonstrators from around the world.  Each month we share different crafting ideas with all of you!  Today we are showcasing retiring products from the 2020-2021 Stampin' Up! annual catalog, along with a technique!  I decided I was going to try a new technique that I just heard about.  Why I haven't seen or heard of it before, I do not know! Can you guess what technique I am talking about? Stampin Up, Stampin' Up!, What's New at SU blog hop, Gorgeous Posies stamp set, Joseph's Coat technique, Timeless Label Punch, handmade cards, birthday cards, created by Stampin Scrapper. If you guessed the Joseph's Coat Technique, you are correct! One of my friends/downline asked if I had ever heard of the Joseph's Coat Technique.  I had not, but I sure wanted to find out about it.  So, off to YouTube I went.  Wow!!!  It is so cool and so fun to do.  There are endless possibilities with this technique.

Since we are showcasing retired products, I decided challenged myself.  I could only use retiring products on this card and I did!  I used the beautiful Gorgeous Posies stamp set, four of the  2019-2021 In Colors, Pretty Peacock, Rococo Rose, Seaside Spray and Terracotta Tile.  I also used the Timeless Label punch and the beautiful Seaside Spray Metallic ribbon, which I am going to miss.  I am sure glad I bought a bunch of the ribbon a long time ago.  The Seaside Spray is actually one of my daughter's colors for her wedding.

Aren't these flowers absolutely beautiful!  I will definitely do this technique more.  I think this is going to be an awesome technique for fall projects!  My creative juices are already flowing.

Now I'm singing "His coat was Peacock and Rose and Seaside and Tile...."

You have chosen the perfect stampset for this technique, and I LOVE the colours you used!

Pat Ertman

I always forget about this dramatic technique. Thanks for sharing a beautiful card!

Joyce Whitman

Hi Loni! I was too when I made it. Great minds think alike.

Thank you Pat!

Heather Cooper

I just used this technique, too and I love how it works. Yours it cool because it looks so shimmery. I think the ribbon helps to create this expectation and effect. I love when old techniques are recycled again!

Joyce Whitman

Hi Heather! Thank you for your kind comments. I also love when old techniques are recycled. I had never done this one, so it was fun!

Rochelle Laird-Smith

Lovely card Joyce. The embossed flowers have come up beautifully.
