Tulips and Easter Go Together!

Tulips and Easter just go together!  When I think of tulips the thought of Spring and Easter comes to my mind.  This year for my Easter cards I used the Timeless Tulips stamp set from the Stampin' Up! annual catalog.  I was so excited when I saw that this stamp set was going to be in the new annual catalog.

Everywhere you look when you go in to stores, you will see the color purple.  Which is okay with me!  I also wanted to use the beautiful Hydrangea Hill designer series paper.  I did use a retired stamp set for the sentiment.

Look what a fun fold this card is!  It is an easy fold that gives your card that Wow effect.

To make this project you will need the following paper.  For a complete list of all the products I used, please see the end of this post.

Cardstock:

Gorgeous Grape

  • cut at 5 1/2" x 7" score at 4 1/4"
  • cut at 3 3/4" x 4 1/4" - score at 1/2" on the 3 3/4" side

Purple Posy

  • cut at 3 1/8" x 4 1/8"
  • cut at 2 5/8" x 5 3//8"
  • cut at 4 1/8" x 5 3/8" - for inside the card

Basic White

  • cut at 3" x 4"

On this card I stamped the tulips with the Highland Heather and Granny Apple Green inks and added Wink of Stella to the flowers and leaves.

On my second card I stamped the tulips with the Gorgeous Grape ink and the leaves and stems with the Granny Apple Green ink.  I couldn't decide which ink to use, so I was using both of them. I then added Wink of Stella to the flowers.  Look how they have a pinkish tint to them.  It was so weird when I put it the Wink of Stella on them, how it changed the color.  It was also really neat watching how it changed the color.

Here is a picture with both cards together, so you can see them next to each other.  Look how the top one (stamped with Gorgeous Grape ink) has pink in it.  The bottom card was the one stamped with the Highland Heather ink and there was no change to it. Crazy! I tell ya, just crazy!  But cool at the same time.

I added the beautiful Gorgeous Grape Sheer Ribbon around the card and tied a bow.  I used the ribbon to hold the card closed.

I hope you enjoyed my projects today. Which one you like best?  Comment below and let me know.  I would love to hear your thoughts on both of them.

Thank you for stopping by today!  I hope you are have a wonderful Wednesday and week.  Sending lots of love and hugs to everyone!

Creative Fold Class Featuring Butterfly Brilliance

StampinUpCreativeFoldClassStampinScrapperJoyceWhitman

I am so excited for this class!  I can't wait to share with you how to make these fun fold cards. I am most excited about the pink one. I know it is hard to imagine how it opens, you are going to be amazed!

I am going to have my Creative Fold Class online on Wednesday, April 21st at 6:30pm via Zoom.  We will be making 4 cards, including envelopes for $15, plus $8.50 for shipping (if you are not picking up your kit).  I will be recording this class, so if you are unable to make it to the class, I will send you the link so you can watch it.

I had designed these cards before the Butterfly Bijou designer series paper sold out.  Luckily, I had ordered a few packs of this paper. Since I am limited on how much paper I have, this class will have to be limited in size.  If you want to attend, please get your registration and class fee in as soon as possible to make sure you have a spot.

I will provide:

  • all paper cut for each of the four cards
  • envelopes for each of the cards
  • all cut outs for each card - not stamped images
  • all embellishments
I wish I could stamp the images for you, but legally can not as it is a copyright infringement against Stampin' Up!

Additional supplies you will need:
  • black or gray ink - I used Basic Gray
  • any stamp set for your sentiments - I used Happy Thoughts
  • adhesive
  • dimensionals
I designed these cards so that you could use what stamp sets you already own for the sentiments and black ink as most of you already have that.  I used the Basic Gray on the cards, but black will look just as nice. If you would like to purchase the stamp set and/or ink, I am happy to include them in your kit.  These items are in addition to the cost of the class.

The cost for the items are:
  • stamp set only $24.50
  • ink only $8.50
  • stamp set and ink $32.50
There also has been an issue with the link that I provided in the first email.  It is working for some of you and not for others.  I have taken the link out for now and will be checking into the issue.

Please RSVP with class fee by Wednesday, April 7th at stampinscraper13@gmail.com or you can reply to this email. You can pay via PayPal (Friends and Family Only) using stampinscraper13@gmail.com or joycewhitman88@gmail.com, Apple Pay or you can send me a check.

If you have any questions, please let me know.

Sending everyone lots of love and hugs.

New Updated Last Chance Product Sale List

Fullsizeoutput_2087

There were some very kind demonstrators who took the time and redid the Last Chance Products Sale list.  I am very appreciative they did this.  I didn't have the time, nor do I know how to do it.  So here is the updated list with just US stamp sets by page number.

UPDATED STAMPIN' UP! 2020-2021 LAST CHANCE PRODUCTS SALE

I wanted to let you know that the Tear and Tape is not being retired.  It is being reconfigured for the new annual catalog.  Yay!  I use it all the time and would be very sad if they didn't have it anymore.  Also, the
photopolymer stamps are being reconfigured.  All that means is Stampin' Up! is changing the way they package the photopolymer stamps inside the cases.  Not all photopolymer stamps are retiring.

Thank you so everyone who placed an order yesterday and this morning. I really appreciate it!  I got my order in last night too.

Don't forget to use the host code so that you can get a free gift from me for ordering $50 or more.  It is best to order online as I am not sure when I am going to be ordering and I don't want you to miss out on anything.  Here is the link for my store.

Last Chance Products Sale Is Here!

03.23.21_SHAREABLE_LAST-CHANCE_NA

Retirement list is here!!!  Everything is while supplies last except for the stamps.  The stamps are made at Stampin' Up! so they can keep making them as needed.  Once it gets closer to the end date of the catalog, then it will be while supplies last.

STAMPIN' UP! 2020-2021 LAST CHANCE PRODUCT SALE

You will notice on the list that there are photopolymer stamps that say they are being reconfigured.  All that means is Stampin' Up! is changing the way they package the photopolymer stamps inside the cases.  Not all photopolymer stamps are retiring.

This is the list that we got from Stampin' Up! so it has the French language stamps on it too.  As soon as I can clean up this list with only products that we use in the US, I will send it out.

I do have a tip for you to help you see what is being retired and what isn't.  I take my catalog and I write an "R" next to the name of the product that is retiring.  That way when I look at my catalog I know what is staying and what isn't.

Don't forget to use the host code so that you can get a free gift from me for ordering $50 or more.  It is best to order online as I am not sure when I am going to be ordering and I don't want you to miss out on anything.  Here is the link for my store.

Flowering Blooms Using Stampin' Blends

Fullsizeoutput_206d

When I was out shopping this past weekend, I couldn't believe how many times I saw the color purple. It was in every store that I went into.  I wonder if there is going to be a purple in the new In Colors?

StampinUpFloweringBloomsStampinScrapperJoyceWhitman

I used the beautiful stamp set Flowering Blooms from the Stampin' Up! 2020-2021 annual catalog.  I knew I wanted this set as soon as I saw it, because I love to color.  I knew I could use so many different colors with it. I finally got a chance to play with it when I made this for my friend's birthday.

StampinUpFloweringBloomsStampinScrapperJoyceWhitman4

I stamped the image in Memento ink and then colored the flower with the Highland Heather Stampin' Blends and the leaves I used the Mossy Meadow Stampin' Blend.  Did you notice the purple ribbon?  If you look in our catalog you will notice that we didn't have a solid purple ribbon.  So I made my own!

You can use any of our Stampin' Blends to color our ribbons.  That way, if you don't have the color you need you can make one to  match your project.  For this card I used the Silver Metallic Edge ribbon and the Highland Heather Stampin' Blend.  I did go over it two times to get the darker color that I wanted.

StampinUpFloweringBloomsStampinScrapperJoyceWhitman2

The designer series paper is from the Brights 6"x6" pack.  I love how the finished card turned out and hope you do too.

Tomorrow, March 24th at (3:00pm EST, 1:00pm MT) the retirement list comes out. Check it out at

http://bit.ly/shopwithstampinscrapper

I will send out an email and do a blog post as soon as I can.  Items on the list will be while supplies last, except for the stamps.

Thank you for stopping by today.  Have a great day!

Sending lots of love and hugs to all of you!

New at SU - Hydrangea Hill Suite

New At SU Blog Hop Banner

Welcome to our NEW AT SU! Blog hop! We are a group of Stampin’ Up! demonstrators from around the world who are Hoppin’ with creative paper crafting ideas to share with you. Today we are showcasing products from the mini catalog. I have been wanting to play with the Hydrangea Hill suite, but haven't had a chance.  So, today I did!

StampinUpNewAtSUBlogHopHydrangeaHillSuiteMiniPaperPumpkinClearTinyTreatBoxLoveYouAlwaysTreatBoxStampinScrapperJoyceWhitman

I was trying to decide what I wanted to make for my project this month.  I could make a card, a scrapbook page, a 3D project or maybe something else.  Then I remembered that Stampin' Up! has wonderful boxes in different sizes.  Which is perfect as I need a couple of boxes for some gifts.

StampinUpHydrangeaHavenMiniPaperPumpkinBoxNewatSUBlogHopStampinScrapperJoyceWhitmanThe first box I decorated was the Mini Paper Pumpkin box.  I love the size of this box.   You can make note cards and add it to the box and you have a perfect gift.  You can put candy, jewelry or gift tags just to name a few.  The possibilities are endless.

To decorate this Mini Paper Pumpkin box I used the following products:

  • Hydrangea Hill stamp set
  • Gorgeous Grape cardstock
  • Basic White cardstock
  • Hydrangea Hill designer series paper
  • Mossy Meadow ink
  • Gorgeous Grape sheer ribbon
  • Pastel Pearls
  • Story Label punch

StampinUpHydrangeaHavenLoveYouAlwaysBoxNewatSUBlogHopStampinScrapperJoyceWhitman

This box, Love You Always Treat box, is fun to decorate.  You can find this box in the Stampin' Up! January - June mini catalog. This box is smaller but deeper than the above box.  What is fun about this box is that the inside slides out.  I like to use this box for when I am giving someone a gift card.  The gift card fits perfect and it makes it look special.  Who doesn't love to receive a pretty gift box!

To decorate this Love You Always Treat box I used the following products:

  • Hydrangea Hill stamp set
  • Gorgeous Grape cardstock
  • Hydrangea Hill designer series paper
  • Gorgeous Grape sheer ribbon
  • Label Me Lovely punch
  • Stitched Shapes dies

Want to give someone a little treat and make it look special?  I have the perfect box for you!  The Clear Tiny Treat Box from Stampin' Up!  This is one of the easiest boxes to decorate.  You can wrap a piece of ribbon around it and tie a bow and your done!  You can also wrap designer series paper around it.  To make nicer, you can add a bow too.  To go one step further, you can do the designer series paper, ribbon and put a sentiment on it, like I did in the above picture.   So many possibilities!

To decorate this Clear Tiny Treat box I used the following products:

  • Oval Occasions stamp set
  • Gorgeous Grape cardstock
  • Highland Heather cardstock
  • Hydrangea Hill designer series paper
  • Gorgeous Grape ink
  • Gorgeous Grape sheer ribbon
  • Pastel Pearls
  • Double Oval punch
