New At Su - Forever & Always

Welcome to our NEW AT SU! Blog hop! We are a group of Stampin’ Up! demonstrators from around the world who are Hoppin’ with creative paper crafting ideas to share with you. Today we are showcasing love and hearts. I knew right away that I wanted to use the beautiful Forever & Always bundle from the new 2021 Stampin' Up! mini catalog.

I can't begin to tell you how beautiful the Love You Always specialty designer series paper is. Then you add the gorgeous Love You Always Foil Sheets! Out Of This World!!! I couldn't just make one project with this paper, I had to make two.

The first project I made was the Love You Always Treat Box. I stamped the flowers from the Forever & Always stamp set in the new Stampin' Up! mini catalog using Black Memento ink. I colored the flowers with the Daffodil Delight, Old Olive and Rococo Rose blends. I cut them out using the Always dies that coordinate with the stamp set. If you order both, the stamp set and dies, as a bundle, you will save 10%. Yay!

I then designed the card to coordinate with the treat box. I wanted to use the same designer series paper and flowers, but this time I added the Blushing Bride Metallic Ribbon. This ribbon is beautiful! What I really like about it, is that it has two totally different sides to it. The first side is a little rough to the touch, but has a more distinct gold color with the Rococo Rose. On the other side of the ribbon, it is softer and has a subtle gold hue to it. I liked the smooth side better for this project.

I added one of the Heart Charms and three of the Matte Black Dots to both of the projects. Of course, we need a little more sparkle, so I added Wink of Stella to the flowers.

This project is perfect for Valentine's Day, a wedding, anniversary, birthday or just because.
