Holiday Extravaganza 2020
10/07/2020
On September 26th I had my 2020 Holiday Extravaganza virtually. It was not the way that I wanted to do my event, but everything happens for a reason. We don't always know the reason, but I was very blessed to find out that my event touched a special young girl. I have never met her, but hope to some day. She will always have a special place in my heart. I am blessed and thankful that her grandma shared her story with me.
For this event, I did 4 different Facebook lives, one for each session. If it was in person I have 4 different session throughout the day. The first session was Valentine's Day, Spring and Halloween. Here are some pictures from the first session.
Everyone received the Banner Year stamp set, which we used in three of our sessions plus the little welcome Mini Curvy Keepsake Box. We filled it with chocolate of course!
All of the attendees got a packet of dimensionals as we used a lot of them throughout the day.
My Joyful Butterflies team members received the Winter Snow Embossing Folder
In all of their kits for this session they received the beautiful Gold Glitter Enamel Dots
There was one more gift that everyone who paid in full at time of registration received and it was the Balmy Blue Glitter paper. I tried and tried to take a picture of it, but I just couldn't get a decent picture.
These are the 4 projects that we made for this session.
On this card I wanted a Happy Birthday sentiment, but didn't want to have the attendees order another stamp set for just one sentiment. So, I created the sentiment on my computer and punched it out for all of them.
A cute and easy fun fold for a Valentine's Day card. We wanted to include other holidays besides Halloween and Christmas this year. We have received a lot of feedback that the attendees really liked how we did the holidays this year.
On this card I thought them how to do the technique of putting ink on your embossing folder before sending it through your machine. They love the effect of the White Craft Ink on the Basic Black cardstock. I used the Cobweb embossing folder in the Stampin' Up! holiday catalog.
Our final project was this fun and fast match book treat holder. I used the fun Magic In This Night designer series paper from the holiday catalog.
I can't thank everyone enough for sticking with me as I had to change this event to virtual. I wasn't sure how it was going to go having an all day crafting event online. I am pleased to say that it couldn't have gone any better. It was so much fun! I prefer to have it in person, but who knows what next year will bring. Maybe I will do both!
Thank you for stopping in today! Have a wonderful Wednesday! Come back on Friday for my Fall Friday project!
Happy Stampin and

That was so much fun!!! Thanks for all the fantastic ideas and all the work you put in. It was educational, enjoyable, and very personable, even though we couldn’t be together this year. I still felt like we were!
