With my classes, I have been having some online and some in person. My Peony Garden Suite class was one that I did both. Last Friday night I had two very special ladies come over and take the class. We had such a good time. I knew I missed in person classes, but I didn't realize how much until they came over. It was so wonderful!
We made 4 cards and a post it note holder using the beautiful Peony Garden Suite. This suite is one of my favorites, no, it is my favorite suite, in the Stampin' Up! annual catalog. I love the colors, Gray Granite and Petal Pink, together and the softness of the beautiful designer series paper.
Here are the projects that we made:
I saw this online and knew I wanted to make it too. I loved it so much that I made it in the colors from this suite and I also made it in Pool Party. I believe the one I saw online was made with Pool Party. I just looked for it and I can't find it back to give the credit to the person who originally designed this card. Who ever it was, please let me know so I can give you credit and thank you so much for sharing. Here it is in the Pool Party color.
I love how this one came out with the double bow. I do have a trick for you when you are working with two ribbons trying to make one bow. Put adhesive, you can use glue dots, but be careful where you put them so they don't show through, or the Stampin Seal adhesive. You don't want to use the liquid glue as it will show through the top ribbon.
Does this card look familiar? When I created Emily and Jeff's wedding card, I knew I wanted to also make one for this class. Here is the link to Emily and Jeff's wedding card if you missed it.
I loved having this class online and in person. I am actually enjoying the online classes more than I thought I would. They have been a lot of fun and I am meeting people from all over the country.
Thank you for stopping by today! I hope you have a terrific day!
Happy Stampin and
