Lots of Cheer Fun Fold Christmas Card
11/22/2019
My favorite type of card to make is any of the fun folds. This card is an easy fun fold, that makes the card unique. Did you know there were Christmas stamp sets in Stampin' Up! annual catalog? I have been busy playing with the products in the holiday catalog, that I forgot. Today, I used the Lots of Cheer stamp set and paper from the Come Sail Away designer series pack, which both are in the annual catalog.
I love to color, so I really enjoyed making this card. This time I used the Stampin Write markers with Stazon ink. The markers are water based so you need to use an alcohol based ink for the outline, which Stazon is. I used the Balmy Blue, Basic Gray, Night of Navy, Pumpkin Pie and Real Red.
To make this project you will need the following paper. For a complete list of all the products I used, please see the end of this post.
Cardstock:
Balmy Blue
- cut at 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" score at 2 1/4" x 6 1/4"
- cut at 2 3/8" x 3 7/8"
Night Of Navy
- cut at 2 1/2" x 4"
Whisper White
- cut at 2 1/4" x 3 3/4"
Come Sail Away Designer Series Paper
- cut 2 at 1 7/8" x 5 1/4"
I used the Subtle embossing folder on the piece of Whisper White after I stamped and colored the snowman and stamped the sentiment.
How cute is the little snowman. A few years ago I made a snowman out of boxes just like this one. I will need to find him and make him again.
On Monday night I will be sharing with you the November Stampin' Up! Paper Pumpkin. I will make the kit as designed and I will also make some alternative projects with the kit.
Last weekend I went to OnStage in Lansing, MI and had so much fun. We were having such a good time that we totally forgot to take any pictures. I realized that on my way home and I was so bummed. I am not sure when the Stampin Babes will be together again. I did get a picture with my partner in crime (LOL) and one of my best friends Robin.
This is what was sitting at our seat when we went to Center Stage. Center Stage is for demonstrators who have the title Silver Elite and above.
This is what we got at CenterStage. Everyone got the backpack, pens and Timeless Tulips stamp set. The little holder on my backpack is a card holder. I am using it for my business cards.
I didn't know I was getting recognized for my sales and recruiting. It was a great surprise!
This is all of the goodies we got when we attended OnStage. I can't wait to start playing with them.
The new Stampin' Up! 2020 Mini Catalog (yes, they changed the name) will be coming out in December. Would you like one? If you have ordered from me in 2019, you will get one in the mail from me, unless you are a demonstrator. If you are not on that list, let me know by November 28th and I will add to my list.
I am so excited about tomorrow. Emily and Jeff are coming home for a whole week. I am one happy mom! I hope you have a great weekend! See you on Monday!
Happy Stampin and
