Good Morning Magnolia With Bird Ballad Laser Cut Cards
07/25/2019
Nobody likes to make sympathy cards. When you need to make one, you need it right away and it needs to be special. I needed to make one for a very special family who has been very influential in my christian walk. In the beginning, they were right there with me and I can never repay them for that.
The first thing I thought of using on this card was one of the Bird Ballad Laser Cut cards. These cards are absolutely beautiful!!!
I stamped the flowers from Good Morning Magnolia stamp set with Memento ink and colored them with the Mossy Meadow and Petal Pink Blends markers. I stamped the sentiment with Mossy Meadow ink and cut it out with the Stitched Shapes dies and matted it with a piece of Mossy Meadow cardstock stock with the Layering Oval dies.
To make this card you will need the following paper. For a complete list of all the products I used, please see the end of this post.
Cardstock:
Petal Pink
- cut at 4 1/4" x 5 1/2"
Mossy Meadow
- cut at 2 1/2" x 3 1/2"
Very Vanilla
- cut at 21/4" x 3 1/4" for the sentiment
- cut at 3" x 8 1/2" for the flowers and leaves
I popped up the sentiment with Stampin Dimensionals and adhered the flowers and leaves with Snail adhesive. On the inside of the card and on the envelope I stamped another flower.
The other day I also shared with you another card I made with the Bird Ballad Laser Cut Cards. If you missed it click Verdant Garden with Bird Ballad Laser Cut Card to check it out. These card bases are so beautiful. You can add any color of cardstock to the back of the laser cut out and any embellishment you want. You don't even have to add any embellishments and it is still a beautiful card. They also come with matching envelopes in a beautiful tin. Check out the picture below.
Last weekend was an exciting weekend for our family. Our daughter, Emily, got engaged!!! We are so excited for both her and Jeff. We are so happy to have Jeff join our family.
I thought I had posted pictures of our new deck, but realized that I never did. I absolutely love how it turned out.
The upper deck was there, we had that part redone and then added the lower deck. I love how we have room now for the grill now and a little picnic table for the kids.
The kids love to have their lunch and snacks outside. This table is perfect size for them.
Thank you to Daly Construction for the wonderful job they did on building this deck for us! We love it!
It is the weekend!!!! I hope you have a fantastic one!
Happy Stampin and
