On Monday I shared a card with you that coordinates with the above cards. I used the same stamp set, the same punch and the same colors. So, what else coordinates?
Did you notice the rectangle frame on the cards in the top picture? Now look at the above picture of the cards I shared on Monday. I took the inside of the frame from the top picture and used it for the white layer on the cards in the bottom picture. How cool is that?! You can make two cards out of one sheet of Whisper White cardstock.
I made the cards in the top photo to show my attendees at my classes how the new Stampin' Up! 2019-2021 in colors looked next to other colors that are similar. This helps me too as it gives me a visual of the differences and also how they coordinate with each other.
Below are pictures showing the card from Monday and todays project. This way you can see the designer series paper, how I used the Stitched Rectangle Dies and the other colors I used with the new in colors.
Pretty Peacock with Bermuda Bay and Coastal Cabana
Purple Posy with Gorgeous Grape and Highland Heather
To make these cards you will need the following paper. For a complete list of all the products I used, please see the end of this post.
Whisper White Thick
- cut at 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" score at 4 1/4"
- cut at 3" x 5 1/2" for the daisies
- scrap for 1/2" circle
- cut at 3 3/4" x 5 1/2"
I used foam adhesive strips to attach the frame on the horizontal card. I also used Stampin Dimensionals to adhere the flowers. To finish off the card, I added Wink of Stella to the center of all the flowers.
Which new in color is your favorite? Pretty Peacock, Purple Posy, Rococo Rose, Seaside Spray or Terracotta Tile? I have to say mine is probably Terracotta Tile. I love all of them, but is the one that I am drawn to the most.
Thank you for taking time out of your day to stop by. Have a great day!
Happy Stampin and
