Spring is here! Yay! When I think of Spring I think of flowers. So, of course, I had to make a card with flowers on it! The flowers really jump off this card with the darker wood background. The wood paper is from the Wood Textures designer series paper in the Stampin' Up! annual catalog.
I used the Daisy Delight stamp set with the coordinating Daisy punch and leaf punch. I stamped the daisy image on Bermuda Bay, Melon Mambo and Pumpkin Pie cardstock using the same color of ink as the paper.
To make this card you will need the following paper. For a complete list of all the products I used, please see the end of this post.
- cut at 4 1/4" x 11" score at 5 1/5"
Bermuda Bay, Melon Mambo and Pumpkin Pie
- cut at 3" x 5 1/2"
- cut at 5" x 2 1/4" (I used scraps to punch out my leaves)
- cut at 4" x 5 1/4" for inside of the card
Wood Textures Designer Series Paper
- cut at 4" x 5 1/4"
I used my bone folder to curl the ends of the flowers and then put a stampin' dimensional on the back of them. For the center of the flowers I add one of the biggest Clear Faceted Gems in the pack (there are 3 different sizes in each pack).
Only 3 days until I leave for San Antonio for Stampin' Up! OnStage! I am getting so excited! I get to meet one of my best friends! Yes, you read that right. I get to meet her. You are probably wondering how is it that I never met her before. Well, we live thousands of miles from each other, so it has been a little difficult to see each other in person. We started talking on a Facebook group with other Stampin' Up! demonstrators and realized we have a lot in common and we think a lot alike. It is actually kind of scary how much we are alike.
