Wishing You Well

Stampin Up, Stampin' Up! Wishing You Well stamp set #147864, created by Stampin Scrapper, for more cards, gifts, ideas, scrapbooking and 3D projects go to stampinscrapper.com, Joyce Whitman

In one of my swaps that I participated in for the holiday catalog I received a beautiful card from Michelle Miller.  It was the same layout that I did, I just changed the colors and ribbon that I used.  I didn't have the stamp set Wishing You Well, because to be honest, I totally overlooked it.  When I saw Michelle's card and others online I fell in love with it and knew I needed to order it.   You know what caught my eye the most on the samples I saw?  The bow!  I have heard other demonstrators say they ordered this stamp set just for the bow and fell in love with the whole set.  I totally get that.  The bow is stunning!

This bow is one of the distINKtive stamps.  Look at the beautiful shading you get and it is all done with only stamping it once.

I stamped the bow on the inside of my card and on the outside of my envelope using Gorgeous Grape ink.

To make this card you will need the following paper.  For a complete list of all the products I used, please see the end of this post.

Cardstock:

Whisper White Thick

  • cut at 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" score at 4 1/4"

Gorgeous Grape

  • cut at 3" x 5"

Whisper White

  • cut at 1" x 2 3/4"
  • cut at 2 3/4" x 3 1/2"

It may appear that there is one sheet of white paper on the top layer, but it is actually two pieces.  I did my stamping first, then adhered the two pieces to the Gorgeous Grape cardstock.  I added the 1/8" Sheer Whisper White ribbon and then popped it up with Stampin Dimensionals.

One this card I used only 2 colors of paper, Gorgeous Grape and Whisper White, and one ink color, Gorgeous Grape.  It is a simple card, but so striking.

Beautiful card, Joyce. What color did you use for the wheat (or whatever the dried leaves are)? I do love this stamp set.

Thank you. I used Crumb Cake ink. Thank you for asking, I didn't realize I missed it on the supplies I used. I have gone in and fixed it.
