Itty Bitty Greetings with Rooted In Nature
06/28/2018
Tonight and tomorrow night I have my June Stamp Camps and this is one of the cards we will be making. Each month I pick a stamp set and teach on how you can use them 3 different ways. This month I am featuring the Itty Bitty Greetings stamp set. I did it a little different than usual because I wanted to show how you can use the sentiments in this stamp set with any stamp set you own. It doesn't have to be a new one, it can be one you have had for many years.
On this card I used the Rooted In Nature stamp set. as I thought it was perfect for the masculine birthday card I wanted, with the colors of Crumb Cake and Mossy Meadow. This is a very easy card that you could use so many different stamp sets with the 32 different sentiments. Yes, you read that correct. There are 32 different sentiments in the Itty Bitty Greetings stamp set! Wow! That is so awesome!
To make this card you will need the following products:
Cardstock:
Mossy Meadow
- cut at 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" score at 4 1/4"
Crumb Cake
- cut at 2 7/8" x 3 1/4"
- cut at 2 3/8" x 4 1/8"
- cut at 4" x 5 1/4"
I only used two ink colors on this card Mossy Meadow and Crumb Cake. I stamped the base of my card, the top layer and the sentiments with Mossy Meadow ink on the leaf stamp. For the wood image I lightly inked the stamp and then stamped it. If you put too much ink on the stamp it will come out a little too dark, but if you stamp off, it is too light.
All layers are adhered with Snail Adhesive, except the top layer which is adhered with Stampin Dimensionals. I wanted to give this layer a little bit of a lift off of the card. On the inside of the card and the envelope I stamped a leaf image in Mossy Meadow ink.
I love easy cards, how about you? I sure hope my customers will like this one as much as I do.
I think all of you know that we are going to be going to Disney with the grandrandall's in July, if not, we are going to Disney with the grandrandall's in July! YAY! We can't wait, we are getting so excited! The last time we went we had a Minnie Mouse who would show up everyday doing silly things to help us get excited about Disney. It is like the Elf on the Shelf, but with a Minnie Mouse. Minnie has decided to come and visit us again this time.
Yesterday, she made arrived while we were downstairs for nap time. Here is a picture of what Minnie was doing.
The kids were so funny. They couldn't figure out how Minnie got in our house when they were sleeping. They tried to say I did it, but I was with them the whole time. Then they said Emily did it, but Emily took a nap too. The only thing is Emily only slept for a little bit because she was busy making the notes. LOL We didn't lie, Emily took a nap.
I wonder where Minnie is going to be tomorrow? You can follow the Minnie countdown on my Instagram - Stampin_Scrapper and Facebook page, Stampin Scrapper, if you are a customer my Stampin Scrapper VIP page and my personal page Joyce Whitman.
Thank you for stopping by today! I hope you have a terrific Thursday!
