Have you seen the adorable stamp set, Magical Day, and coordinating framelits, Magical Mates, in the occasions catalog.  I have to say, when I read magical day, I immediately thought of Disney World.  Since we are going back in July, I knew I had to get this set for my scrapbooking pages of our trip. Another great thing about this stamp set and framelits is they come in a bundle!  You can save 10% when you purchase both of them together.   

I made this card for my niece's son and one of my daycare angels.  The card base is from the Sale-A-Bration catalog and they are called the Tutti Frutti Cards and Envelopes.  You can earn the card bases and envelopes FREE when you purchase $50 or more in product.  The one thing that impressed me with these cards are how sturdy they are.  They already have a design on them, so all you have to do is put a sentiment on it and you are ready to go.  Perfect for when you in a card in a hurry.

I used the Blends to color in the dragon and then cut it out with the matching framelit.  I used the dark and light Old Olive color and red is colored with the Stampin Write Marker in Real Red. 

For the sentiment I stamped it twice.  Once in black and once in Real Red inks.  I cut out only the word, magical, out of the red one, there is a framelit for it.  I then adhered it over the top of the black one with Snail Adhesive.  This and the dragon were attached to the piece of black paper.  I made the banner with my scissors.  I popped the dragon up with Stampin Dimensionals.  

For the inside of the card and the envelope I stamped the little knight on the bottom left hand corner.  I did not color him, but you could.

• cut at 2 1/2" x 5"  

Whisper White Cardstock # 100730

• cut at 2 1/2" x 2 1/2" for the dragon
• cut at 2" x 6" for the sentiment

This was such a fun card to make for the boys.  I will definitely make more of them.
