Welcome to my Merry Christmas Monday series!  For the next 7 weeks I will be sharing with you a different project made especially for the Christmas season.  I have been having fun already creating for my favorite holiday, Christmas!  I love the crisp air, lights, music, baking, making gifts and spending time with the ones that are dear to me.

My first project that I am going to share with you is also one of my Splitcoaststampers Creative Crew projects.  Our daughters, Emily and Erica were my inspiration for this project.  We had to create a tag  and a box to put them in or attached to a gift.  I actually did both, the box and gift.   I knew I was going to give wine/sparkling cider  this year as gifts to family and friends and to our girls, Emily and Erica.  So, I went on Pinterest and found a really cute wine bottle wrap and went from there.  The tutorial I followed for this is by Frenchie, who is also a Stampin' Up! demonstrator.

Here is the final project:

stampin up, Stampin' Up! Merry Little Labels #1444795, Foil Snowflakes #144642, Year of Cheer Speciality Designer Series Paper #144640, 3/8" Metallic-Edge Ribbon #144146, 1/8" Ribbon-Gold #134583, created by Stampin Scrapper, for more cards, gifts, ideas, scrapbooking and 3D projects go to stampinscrapper.com, Joyce Whitman

This is an easy way to dress up the wine or sparkling cider you are taking to dinner at a friend's house or giving as a gift.  Doesn't it look so much nicer than a plain bottle?

I started out writing up the directions on how to make this and thought this would be so much easier with a video.  So, I made a video, edited it and was ready to download it to YouTube.  While I was doing this we had very bad thunderstorms, which my computer did not like.  LOL  However, after a very long time, I got it down loaded and ready for you to see.  I have the video at the end of this post.

Thank you! I will be doing the same thing now to my wine bottles. I can't wait to make different ones for the holiday season.
