Cool Treats Birthday Card

stampin up, Stampin' Up! Cool Treats #142982, Frozen Treats Framelits #142756, Tasty Treats Specialty Designer Series Paper #142770, Occasions 2017, Birthday card, created by Stampin Scrapper, for more cards, gifts, ideas, scrapbooking and 3D projects go to stampinscrapper.com

One of the new stamp sets in the Occasions catalog is Tasty Treats. This is such a fun set with matching framelits, washi tape, designer series paper and sprinkles embellishments.  On this card I used the designer paper and the framelits.  One nice thing about this set is that it is photopolymer.

To make this card you will need the following products:

Pool Party Cardstock #122924

  • cut at 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" score at 4 1/4"

Crumb Cake Cardstock #120953

  • cut at 2" x 1 1/2"

Watermelon Wonder Cardstock #138334

  • cut at 3" x 3 1/2"

Whisper White Cardstock #100730

  • cut at 2 3/4" x 3 1/4"
  • cut at 4" x 5 1/4"

Tasty Treats Specialty Designer Series Paper #142770

  • cut at 2 1/2" x 5 /14"

I stamped the "Happy Birthday" in the colors of Peekaboo Peach, Pool Party and Watermelon Wonder.  I stamped the first one in Peekaboo Peach and then the Watermelon Wonder.  That way it is easier to center the one in Pool Party.

To make the ice cream I first used the solid image stamp.  I put ink on it and then stamped it on a scrap piece of paper and then onto my whisper white paper.   This is called "stamping off".  Then I inked up the spiral stamp and stamped it directly onto the solid image I just stamped.  I popped both of the ice cream cones.

For the inside of the card I stamped the ice cream cone and a sentiment from the stamp set.  You can also use the ice cream cone for your envelope.

Thank you for stopping by today.  I hope you are having a wonderful Wednesday!
