Fall Friday Week #6 - Popcorn Box

Can you believe this is week #6 of my Fall Friday?!  Time is going so fast!  I am having so much fun creating different projects for you every week.  I have another series planned for when this when ends on Halloween.  I think you are going to like it!

This is my first time using the Popcorn Box Framelits and I love it!!!! Why did I wait so long to use it?  You will be surprised how  easy this was to put together.

You are going to need to cut out two of the framelits to make this box.  I used the Tear and Tape to put it together as you are going to want to use a strong adhesive whenever you make a box.  I wanted to decorate it but wasn't sure how I was going to do it as the top is wider than on the bottom.  Then the light bulb went off!

First, stamp a piece of crumb cake card stock using Soft Suede ink and the Hardwood stamp set.  Then flip over that piece of paper so the ink is face down.  Put the framelit that you used to cut out the box and trace the left side of the framelit.  Below is a picture to show you what I mean about the left hand side of the framelit.  You will need to cut out four of theses.

I then used my trimmer to cut them out.  I lined up the lines with the cutting track so I could have a straight line.  I think my OCD kicked in on this.  You can also use scissors to cut out the pieces if you wish.  Here is a picture that I took to show you how I lined up the  paper to cut it.

I then used the stamp sets Vintage Leaves,Cookie Cutter Halloween and Teeny Tiny Wishes to decorate the front of the box.  Of course if you have a box you must have chocolate!!! Yummy!

Have a wonderful Friday and a great weekend!

Happy Stampin!
